  1. I'm not sure they can live up to the last seasons last few episodes. The episode Shane died in was AMAZING as was the last episode of the season. Gonna be tough to rope it all in with 3 episodes left.
  2. Yeah I know it's getting old for them too.
  3. Man I wish I had your luck! Glad someone is finding it though.
  4. What the?!?! How the?!?!
  5. So how did you get 800 rounds if there is a 3 box limit?
  6. It's like they forget it's part of their job to answer questions.......
  7. Yeah I was surprised. It didn't take me but about 5 minutes to collect 200 or so 9mm brass. Granted everyone may have been picking up the "new" brass as they went along or shot. I just picked up the stuff that didn't look too bad.
  8. I tend to agree with this.^ I waited until the end of an IDPA match this weekend (my first one) to pick up brass. I know I didn't pick up just MY brass that I had shot but I only picked up the amount that I had shot. I was the new guy so I am sure some folks though I was being a "range chicken" as someone said earlier but I figure if I waited that long everyone else had the chance to get some. Picking it up during the match is just a pain to me.
  9. Hey don't rule out the M&P's either!   You really can't go wrong with a Glock or M&P but I would probably recommend a 9mm over a .40 for a first timer. For cost reasons if nothing else.
  10. Well that's it then. I'm gonna try it and see. I guess I always just thought that ON meant everything stayed on. Know that I sit back and think about it I feel kinda stoopid.
  11. My dachshunds have learned every noise in the house so they don't bark at the creaks and such. They go nuts if something is out of place though and will wake you out of the deepest sleep possible.
  12. That's interesting. I have never heard this. Not saying you're not right just never heard it. Would that not lend to early failure of the fan motors or anything?
  13. On a side note I hate those filters creaking after the heat goes off! Our vent is right outside of our bedroom door and that thing still wakes me up sometimes with all that loud popping. Hard to believe how much air is actually moving through that thing.
  14. I think you did the right thing. That's what I would have done.As others said if your entire family is already in the room with you then stay hunkered down and call the cops. You tip the odds closer to 50/50 when you go out looking for him as he could be anywhere in the house. In your bedroom you know he has to come through that door.
  15. Pics or it didn't happen. haha. I can never get my iPhone to load up the camera quick enough to capture moments like these. I would imagine it would have to be something government related in order for that to be ok. Just a plain jane 18 wheeler?
  16. My question is why would you even want a knife that small on an airplane anyways. Doesn't sound like it would serve any good defensive purpose (had a case toothpick close on my finger one time) and I don't think they let you whittle. I mean I don't have a problem with it by any means and don't want to sound like a liberal by saying "why do you need this, that, etc".   As others have said though I wouldn't go spend any money on it. But if I were I'd get on ebay and get a cheap one.
  17. Well now you are just showing off.
  18. Thanks for that link Prag. I have some dot targets left over from a class I took but they didn't have the training listed on them like that. It makes good sense to start and end with those. More than likely I will just do that and the beginning then just do some draw and fire on the silhouette from different angles.   I recently saw something on the sportsman's channel about using ammo boxes (or any box) to make a "3D" target and then draping an old tshirt over it. It makes sense to train for a 3D target as opposed to a flat piece of paper if shooting from different angles.
  19. Define the "something" that has happened. Did the folks above South Korea invade? Zombies? EMP? That will determine most of the responses I think.
  20. That's pretty cool. May have to try my hand at those.
  21. Yeah I might make a rifle strap pretty soon. I have seen a few different ways to do it but I just gotta figure out how I want to do it.   Those monkey fists sure are time consuming. Took me an hour to figure out how to tighten the thing up.
  22. Yeah I don't expect this to be a money making venture or anything. I am just getting into it honestly and figure I can make a little ammo money while making some cool stuff for friends and family. If I can sell one or two from every roll of paracord I buy that will at least pay for my paracord habit.   I'm just ready to get home and try out Caster's idea. I have been contemplating making some type of tow rope for a while now and just haven't got around to it.
  23. I can attest to this at the Collierville location as well. Their is a line of 4-5 folks every morning that snag most if not all of it.   My wife's coworker went to get her oil changed around lunch time today and called and told her they had some 9mm in stock which means they had to have put it out later. Either that or it didn't sell out this morning (unlikely). Being the good wife she is she took her lunch break and went and bought 3 boxes! I was verrrry excited! It's kind of sad actually to be excited over ammo. :squint:
