Military surplus store is where I get mine.

Great idea caster. I think my target audience mostly wants them for looks but I am going to make one when I get home for myself and see what folks think. I wasn't really planning on selling them on here as I don't know how that would go over not being a vendor and all that. I don't want to go through all of that as I don't want this to become a "job". It may also kill the profit margin and/or "cheapness" having to pay $5 for flat rate box shipping. I don't have a problem selling you guys a few though if you want something. Paracord is $7 per 100ft length here locally so once you figure in that, the cost of the buckles and "labor" I thought they were pretty reasonable prices. The wife actually sparked the idea. I made her one then she just had to have 3 or 4 more colors. I figure I can make some of the local college colors as well.

I know the market is saturated with any paracord product you can think of but I enjoy making them and am thinking of selling some of the following items locally. Let me know if you think my prices are pretty reasonable. I will be making them with the real deal 550 paracord and using plastic buckles with the metal ones as an option. Bracelets- $5 for regular weave. $6 for King cobra weave.(double the cord.) Keychains- $3-5 depending on size and pattern Dog collars- $7 for small dog $10 for big dog. I would probably do a double weave or "King cobra weave on these so they would be twice the paracord. Crosses (necklace, rear view mirror ornament, etc. -$ 7 Surprisingly I have received a lot of requests for some of these from my wife's coworkers (bank) and older relatives. Must be the current climate that has folks interest peaked in "survival gear". What do you guys think?

CCI producing 4,000,000 .22 rounds a day

Been by there many times. I have been tempted to just go lay at the gates and beg here recently haha. -
I can't even imagine the level of intelligence that the people who signed this petition possess(or lack). Not only is is just plain disrespectful but to pick THAT song and artist rapper/singer is just icing on the cake. I'm sure these are the same folks that want to change the constitution as well. As others have stated before, the movie "idiocracy" is coming to mind. Heck we may be in the early stages already.

Primer limit at Lebanon Gun Shop
maroonandwhite replied to gregintenn's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
Too true. I have said I was "Done with checking walmart every times I drive by!" at least twice this week but I keep going. :squint: -
Maybe I'll do that with my 45-70 handi.........
-
Does that need a tax stamp? Maybe I am thinking about shotgun length......Never checked on rifle. Looks sweet though!

+1 This is what I would do since it is a Smith. Easily reversible and adds that color she wants.

I echo the fact that you should just try the charter first IF you must find a purple gun. I think it is a bad idea to pick a gun based solely on the color but you didn't ask that....... She may love the charter but she may not. When I first got into guitars my grandpa bought me a nice 50's reissue american made strat because I liked the way it looked. Fast forward 15 years and I wish I would have gotten a telecaster instead because of the way it sounds and plays but Id didn't know anything about them when I picked it out. Moral of the story is don't spend a bunch of money on a smith and even more making it purple on a CHANCE that she may like it. What are you going to do with a purple gun if she doesn't like it? :yuck:

Need my address? :pleased: My collection would start by getting back all of the guns I have traded or sold over the years. I miss them all.

I would imagine if the walkers didn't eat the dogs then people ended up killing them. Harsh as that sounds a barking dog is a bad thing in the zombie apoc.

I would want a no dying/getting bit guarantee. :pleased:

NIB Nagant what to do
maroonandwhite replied to TrickyNicky's topic in Curio, Relics and Black Powder
I think you should get some nice glass, drill/tap it for a scope mount, put it on the gun, put it back in the cosmoline, package it all back up and realllly freak someone out in about 50 years. -

Since you have two others I'd keep it boxed up. I would find myself in the same situation though. I get the "can't help it's" sometimes and have to tinker with stuff. I just think it's cool that is has been like that for years and years. Heck, in that shape it'll be worth a cool million in a year or so at the rate we are going. -
Word of advice. If you have already bought a holster for what you will carry strap that baby on and break it in / get used to it. It really helps with the transition from not carrying to carrying. Especially if you carry IWB. Edit: Just though I should clarify you will not carry the gun when doing this haha. :pleased:

Mississippi House Bill 2
maroonandwhite replied to maroonandwhite's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Well it is law now! Approved by the gov today. I am wondering though if this is effective immediately or if it won't go into effect until July 1st as stated on the page. -
It's a tactical maneuver on there part. If they were always moving they couldn't bite your ankles when you walk by. :pleased: Yep I'm sure of it.

Some places in the U.S require the local sheriff to sign off on gun permits, purchases, etc. I'm sure. I don't think that is the case in GA but they just needed something to tie in the fact that Rick knew where some were. As with all the other gun stuff most folks won't know that.

still no. Everyone else pretty much summed it up but I refuse to give up my liberties for the "protection" TSA provides. -

I can't really think of anything someone else could do to justify TSA groping MY balls. -
I haven't had any problems thus far with OC'ing in there. If they do just get the persons name and call the manager, after you leave of course. Their policy is to go by state law.

Mississippi House Bill 2

Looks like the Gov has it now and is supposed to either sign it or not by Wednesday!
