  1. Just one more reason to bring the old Nokia's back. NO GPS. They could use the old cell tower triangulation trick but it will only get them close haha.
  2. Yeah you are probably right. Anything to make a buck.
  3. I would bet he is never hired by anyone else as a security guard if they see this video........ever. Unless maybe a business wanting some publicity comes along.
  4. This is true. Don't know where I got that from. I guess I am so used to complaining about all of this mess here lately it is just becoming second nature. Maybe I should take up golf...
  5. Sounds like the ATF might want to visit him.
  6. To make sure they can afford to pay for extra officers so you can carry a long knife I guess???
  7. It's kind of comical really. Close your eyes when the fighting starts and you hear the 5 or six different guys all saying the same thing over and over. "Come at me, Come at me, Come at me bro, Come at me, etc. I guess as long as they are yelling something it is an acceptable rebuttal haha.
  8. My grandpa purchased a $2000 USED setup from Gruhn's in Nashville years ago and it sounded awesome when the store clerk played it. Not so much in his hands haha.... He has developed arthritis though so he can't really practice or play it at all. From what I have been told the majority of it is in the bow technique. Much like a Banjo the fretting is pretty easy if you have played guitar before. It's the other hand that is tough. I have never played one though so this may all be false.
  9. ^ That guy is pretty desperate! I would just take up golf or something.
  10. Doesn't sound very reasonable to me. There was a video up some time ago about a "gun detector" that kind of showed an outline of something on a persons body. Almost like a heat signature thing. I don't see how it could be justified for anyone coming in your house to scan the walls though looking for guns.   I would imagine in most cases of a gun grad they probably wouldn't have to look any farther than the front door to find a gun.
  11. Can the place even be making any money with all that mess going on?
  12. Yep. I kept waiting for him to catch one in the back of the head the entire video. Very unprofessional and I don't really have an ounce of pity for him after seeing that. I know the whole "walk a mile in my shoes" thing might apply here but still that guy is just asking for it.
  13. What was he thinking?
  14. ^Yes. Yes it does....
  15. Seems like while the medium feels the best just holding it but the large provides more contact area for may hands. Think I am going to be an oddball and go with the large.
  16. Well looks like medium is the popular choice. I may just have to try both of them while actually shooting to see which I like more.
  17. My advice to you would be to get on Glock's website and look at the interactive videos showing you how the safety trigger system works. It will show you that the gun will NOT go bang unless you pull the trigger. The same is true with M&P's and XD's. Any other concern can be trained out of you with proper equipment(holster) and techniques.   With that said I have owned a Glock 36 and really liked everything about it except for round count. I don't like carry guns with manual safeties so I am going to be kind of biased. If you haven't already handled or shot them try out the M&P's as well. They have interchangeable back straps. Not sure if they make a gen 4 Glock 36 yet but if so then it should have the interchangeable back straps as well.   Edit: ^Beat me to it!
  18. I am thinking it had something to do with the swell of the large grip not coming down so far into the base of my palm on the compact.
  19. Milton for sure. There was ALOT of tension in the scene where he confronted Milton about it and I thought it was pretty strongly insinuating that he did it.
  20. I just traded my full size M&P9 for the compact model and it's weird but I preferred the medium back strap on the full size but like the large back strap on the compact. They both feel good but the recoil felt like butter with the large back strap on.   Just curious what most of you M&P owners use.
  21. I think this is probably the biggest factor in how good they work. I have course hair and have never been able to get a good even shave with one. I have only ever tried the "straigt across" type and not the rotary kind though. I too got on ebay and bought an old gillette adjustable safety razor. I can shave for months with a $4 pack of double edged blades. One blade shaves as good as 4 if you know what you are doing.
  22. Same here. I keep a heightened level of awareness but realize that not everyone is up to no good. That feeling should pass though as you become more accustomed to carrying.   Kudo's for being aware but don't drive yourself into the looney bin.
  23. I saw Obama get elected again......sorry couldn't resist.   That sucks that a shop would try to do that but the buyer should do more homework.
  24. We just have to wait for those folks to run out of money then the prices will go back down haha.
  25. I agree with everything you said but I think some death is coming.
