  1. Has anyone sent their NEOS in for the recall work? Supposedly they have had issues of firing with the safety on as well as firing when putting the safety on. There is no cost to send it back to them for work but I have read reports of them coming back with worse triggers than when they left. I haven't even shot the gun yet as I just picked it up yesterday used but hey if I can get new parts and get the gun reworked for free then why not?   Just hoping someone has had some experience with this and can share.
  2. Yeah I shoot it low as well. Must be that 347# trigger pull haha.
  3. Yeah I have decided if I can run ten consecutive mags through it with no hiccups then it will satisfy me. I couldn't do that with the other one so I didn't trust it to carry. This one should suit me fine though. This is not a fun range gun though.
  4. I OC my Jiminez every day in my Uncle Mikes nylon #2.
  5. I bought a used KelTec PF9 a few years ago that ran flawlessly for as long as I had it and like a dummy I sold it. About 6 months ago I got the itch for another one and ordered a new one from Buds that was just plauged with problems. Weak extractor spring, extractor breaking, etc. I finally got it semi fixed and sold it off cheap with full disclosure. I was sick about it.   Well I have been looking for another pocket gun and decided to give the PF9 another chance. I got it for a good price along with 150 rounds of ammo. I went and shot 5 mags through it yesterday without a hitch. I don't really have a point to this post but just thought I'd share for the heck of it. One thing is for sure, this little dude has some pop to it.
  6. That's awesome! Probably my favorite out of all you've done so far.
  7. I thought this was gonna be a parachute......
  8. Very sad but that's what happens when you get careless. On a side note, I wish the media wouldn't use the term "went off".
  9. Good luck with that.   All joking aside though that would be great!
  10. Spandex. Blah.
  11. THAT IS AMAZING. They would probably just fall over riding my bike at hwy speed haha.
  12. I just have to find someone that will do that now.
  13. I did but they told me doing the moulding would be the cheaper of the two. They quoted me $1000 for the paint and another body shop just quoted 700.
  14. GOOD LORD! The dealer wants $750 to replace the moldings! I was just gonna look into that instead of paint but good grief that's high for some PVC plastic. At this point I don't know what I wanna do. There is a place in Memphis that does aftermarket trim and molding that may be able to add something to cover it up cheaper than $750. I know one thing, this was an expensive mistake!
  15. Yes I did buy it used and I am pretty sure that is what happened. I'm thinking it probably had some body work done on that side and that it was never filed or reported hence the clean carfax.
  16. Care to share the body shop? Wouldn't hurt for me to get a few quotes.
  17. Capbyrd I just called Joe and he recommended going to the body shop as well. He reitereated that they would probably try to sand it a little and just build up that spot with clear. Thanks for the number though. I may let him have it after I get this fixed.
  18.   Yeah I did a little research last night and this dealer (Sunrise chevy in Collierville) is supposed to have a real good rep for body and service work. They work on any makes and models and have a huge shop. I bought the truck from them as well. I hope it's as easy as he made it out to be.   The crazy thing is now I am wondering what happened to my truck before I bought it. One owner, clean carfax, older gentleman owned it and barely drove it. It's a 2008 with only 25k on it when I bought it at the end of 2012. Only thing I can figure is maybe someone or something just ran into the side of it and they had to repaint. They did a heck of a good job other than not removing the molding to paint behind it.
  19. Yeah that's my guess too. I'm hoping around $200. I got a really good vibe from the guy like they wouldn't "take me to town" on it. I'll probably have to invest in a good polish/wax kit afterwards as well. I am very relieved though. I know it's bad to be so materialistic but my heart sunk when I saw that haha. My truck is my child until I have a child.
  20. Just called the dealer and they told me it's going to be an easy fix and that it won't cost much. Said they'd probably just sand the edge down and spray some clear on it.
  21. If I can get that deal I'd be happier than a pig in the mud!
  22. Goof off and more elbow grease will take any residue off of glass. If it's been on there a while it will just take some time for it to fade away.   Now, back to the topic at hand. :pleased:
