  1. So now we wait for the inevitable "is it too late to get in?" post.
  2. Yeah the Sprint looks like a handy little size. That Godfather is sexy though! I just started a monthly knife fund in my budget to save for the next one haha. I don't even have the first one yet and I'm hooked!
  3. Sounds good to me!
  4. That's fine with me Hozzie. I can meet you in Franklin or where ever around 10 as well. Will we be going on the hwy or is there a scenic route to take?
  5. Yeah I like the meet and eat idea as well. I don't know anything about the area though so ya'll can decide that.
  6. I'm in pending what the group decides.
  7. I'm good with the 18th!
  8. I feed those to my chickens. It's like crack to them.
  9. I wonder what one collective pop from 50 Rockeye's sounds like?
  10. I enjoy it but unfortunately I don't have the luxury of being in the country since we moved here. I hope to remedy that soon.   My favorite memory I can recall is watching a mother raccoon and her three young ones while in the deer stand. I watched them for over an hour until they spotted me. I totally forgot I was deer hunting.
  11. We are going to have to schedule an auto carry meet. 50 guys with autos on the OUTSIDE of the pocket. Folks would go nuts trying to figure out the occasion.
  12. I particularly like the Can-Am Spyders rather than the traditional trike though.
  13.   I won't laugh for sure. I've had those days where I wished I had a trike. Had one the other day actually trying to drive through Bellevue at rush hour. Stop and go. Stop and go.
  14. Thanks CS. I've had my fair share of those birds nest in the past haha.
  15. Welcome!
  16. I'd be in as well assuming it was on a Sunday. I have to work Saturday mornings until noon. Riding a Suzuki Boulevard C50T.
  17. Great info! Thanks!   School me on the fishing around here. The TWRA lakes are obviously online but there has to be other places around here to fish. Can I fish out of the Harpeth? I noticed some weird supplement license needed to fish out of my county but you can't use artificial bait. What's up with that?
  18. Yeah I don't really WANT to buy based on brand. What are some specific things to look for in a quality reel?
  19. I am hoping to get into fishing and don't have a clue where to begin with equipment. I am not new to fishing but have never really been serious about it and have always had cheaper stuff. The most expensive reel I have owned was a $50 Pinnacle from Walmart. I don't want to break the bank here but would like a few suggestions on what to look for in a good basic rod and reel combo. Am I correct in thinking that a baitcaster/open face is mainly for the heavier baits/lures and the spin cast are for the lighter stuff?   Also if anyone can recommend a few places to fish around Bellevue i'd appreciate it. I will mainly be fishing from the land as I don't know anyone with a boat.
  20. So exciting! This is my anniversary present from my wife and I'm gonna have some serious pains not opening this once it arrives.
  21. Seems like they keep pushing the time back that it's going to get bad. I wouldn't be surprised if nothing happens.
