1. Ordered another mag for the shield today and should have my holster back in a day or two. Hopefully I can come shoot next go round. How many shots are normally fired per stage? I'll have 22 rounds on me with the shield and three mags. I might need a third spare.
2. I'll be coming as soon as I can get my gear in. Not tonight though.
3. They actually have it on their site with a commercial and all. Not sure on the date but I would imagine now.
4. I was just messing with you.
5. I agree. It's really only half a safety to me though. I can barely engage it anyways with a firing grip. My guess is that they hoped it would appeal more to the pocket carry audience even though it's a tad big for that.
6. That brings up a good point. From what I've read anodizing is a treatment to the metal but will these graphics be permanent or can they be worn off? Not that I'd want to. Just wondering.
7. I could make some kind of weapon out of it.
8. I just read that the Shield will be released without the thumb safety. This got me wondering if anyone actually has problems with it accidentally engaging. I don't see how it would be possible on mine but I've seen youtubers complaining about it accidentally coming on.   I'd just as soon not have a thumb safety but mine isn't in the way. Is yours?
9. You're not biased are you?
10.   I believe it is an exact copy of the logo at the top of the site and in that case is a perfect match haha. Looks like the lettering on the bottom is right in line.
11. Sweet but where's the rest of the knife?
12.   What you talkin' 'bout Willis?    That's gonna be torture! I guess my wife will have to put up with me showing her and only her how cool it is everyday until July 1st. Thanks for update.
13.
I might as well get off the fence, I'm in for #6. These sure do impact the ol firearm hobby but you don't need to keep feeding it!
That's mostly how I justify it.
14. Just got a shield myself and have an alien gear on order.
15. Well I think it's obvious but you will need a tuckable holster. There are probably 30 different makers of hybrid holsters. Check out crossbreed, alien gear, white hat, or kholster just to name a few.
16. In that case I'll give ya $25 for it.  Kidding of course.   That's an interesting blade shape.
17. The good thing about your problem is that you only have two right answers!
18. Just picked up a shield myself and love it. I'm torn though as I've hade both. The glock platform would probably be what you end up carrying on duty however the shield is my favorite carry gun I've ever owned. Just a matter of compromise really. For carry though id go with the shield. After all they are similar platforms. Point and shoot.
19. Welcome to TGO!
20. I actually like this idea I just haven't checked into the price of these buildings yet. Seems like it would probably more costly than a regular wood garage though.
21.   Dang it Musicman! I had just about forgotten about having this ordered and you go and remind me.  :yuck:   Longest wait ever.
22. That's exactly what we have in mind.
23. Just curious if any of you guys have done this. Not quite ready to buy yet but can't seem to find just what we are looking for in a house with some land in our price range.   We are considering buying a small piece of land 4-10 acres and building a shop with living quarters above. This will get us out of paying rent and also give us time to really nail down how we would like to build our house. The land is the most important part for me. There are lots of hills around these parts and I am wanting a good flat piece of usable land where the dogs can run and the chickens can roam. :pleased:   I am hoping if we play our cards right we could find a piece of semi cleared land for $30-$40k. Am I dreaming on this number?   I realize we will have to do the septic and water and all that if we get out in the boonies.
