  1. That gave me a headache just watching it.
  2. I guess some of these folks think they are owed a living wage. Gotta get tough and adapt or you go under. As you pointed out in your story you don't get or keep loyalty by being a jerk.
  3. Not to speak for willis68 but I believe he stated before he'd just refund it to you. I think about 25 are in.
  4. So are you guys still on the fence about these or just waiting for pics? I know we have another two months or so but we need to make this happen! If you bought the first one then you wanna be in on these as well. I know I couldn't sleep if I knew someone else out there had my #18.
  5. Yeah I noticed that too. I'm guessing it hurts like a son of a gun with that thing hitting the web of your hand. This way he must just be using pure grip strength and letting his palms absorb the recoil. Impressive for sure!
  6.   I too like the I-Dots. Not the pro's, just the regular.
  7. Yeah guys you get a lot of knife for the money. It was tough for me to spend that much on a knife but you won't be disappointed. Put $100 back a month for it and you'll never miss it! Plus you'll have an awesome knife/knives to show your friends/kids/grand kids one day.
  8. That's a good point. Maybe the easiest way to go about this is too just not get pulled over.......
  9.   It seem like every hobby all of us have you have to wait or search high and low for the good stuff! I think I am going to go with one of the Maxpedtion bags for my budding Protech collection and something like the sack ups for my Kershaws. Looks like Maxpedition makes some pretty good stuff. I've been needing a good get home bag for a while now so maybe I'll buy it all at once.
  10. Just saw a post where a guy used old silverware boxes/cases. Genius!   http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1000004-Curiosity-question
  11.   Those look right up my alley for the Protech and other higher end knives. For the case knives though I'm gonna have to find something cheaper or that will hold more knives for the money.
  12. That's a good question. Probably get the same answers as the mag loaded or unloaded topic.
  13. Good lord! The Godfather is going to be huge!
  14. I searched and found a few old threads about knife storage but would like to get a few opinions on the reasons why you store the way you do. With the TGO group buys going on as well as me wanting to start collecting case knives (Copperlock and Mini Copperlocks) I am going to need a good way to store and access them.   While I don't plan on having any safe queens I'm sure there will be a few of the knives I will baby. I'd prefer to have convenient access to all of my knives though which has me thinking a knife roll would work. However it seems like the knives would rub against each other in one of those. Of course I'd also want a way to keep moisture out. I'd like to get some specifics of how and why you store your knives the way you do.
  15. Oh I know that. I'm just sayin' when I get mine I'm gonna be looking for a whole turkey or something like that to test it on. Those things just look wicked.
  16. So we did the "what are you gonna cut first" on the LG101. What are you gonna stab first with these?   Oh and those are awesome!
  17. Well the question has been answered a few times so now you are gonna get everyone's (including mine) opinion on if you should or shouldn't show it to him.  :pleased:   I do as others stated above have said and roll windows down, lights on, DL and HCP ready to go. I do not do this to make the officers life easier but do it with the hope that me being so courteous and all will result on not getting a ticket. If the officer is going to write it either way what do you have to lose?
  18. If by some chance you were to break the fiber optic tube on the TFO's will the tritium portion still stay in place or is it attached to the tube. I haven't held them in person but that's been my only reservation about them. I had a set of William's Fire Sights on a Taurus way back when and broke two sets of them. Granted they weren't as protected as the TFO's seem to be.
  19. Federal also makes the low recoil Hydrashoks. I've actually never shot them but that may make a difference for you.
  20. "And that's the way it is"
  21. Yeah I saw it in the theater but saw Netflix had the unrated version. May give it another looksy for extra footage.
  22. Was it not in it's plastic baggy all greased up? If not then I would suspect they may have taken it out and shot it.
  23. Yeah I had to polish the crap out of both of mine as well as put 50-100 rounds through it before it would feed gold dots reliably. I was determined to make it like them haha. These are my favorite out of all the pocket .380s.
