1. Oh I see. It still shows in stock but say's not available when you click add to cart. My bad. Didn't try that before.
2. Showing back in stock for those interested. I have one already.
3.
Here is one for 140 dollars. http://www.shippersmall.com/military-sign-stay-back-100-meters-aribic-english-2
Doubts confirmed.
4. I have my doubts. And...... It's not even a cool sign.
5. Sorry that's what I meant too. I actually have a pocket diamond sharpener I was able to hold up against the sharp maker rods to get the angle right. It did make a difference but I gonna go ahead and get the diamond rods to make it a little easier.
6. That's my thought as well. It matched the pictures of the Spey blade pretty closely. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
7. I get a huge bottle of off brand Claritin there once a year but that's about it.
8. If it were me I'd hang on to the Glock and keep trying to sell or trade it for something you do want. I just don't see the .22lr being more valuable to someone over a Glock 17. Actual pricing / value aside.   Although the serial # mismatch on your Glock may turn some folks off too. I dunno, that's a tough one but I still lean towards the Glock.
9. That's possible but the blade didn't have all the discoloration / patina when I got it. I kind of let it get that was on purpose because I like the look. No doubt it probably needs profiling though. I just can't get there with the "coarse" stone that comes with the sharpmaker.
10. I was thinking the same thing. Is he a friend of yours? At work we are in the process of trying to recover funds we were scammed out of by supposed email fraud so my radar is on high.   At the very least I'd call the business to verify it. If it is legit though +1 for you trying to spread the word to help a guy out.
11. What time does this kick off and normally end? I have family coming in but I'd love to make it.
12. I will say the one time I have used it alot was while camping and preparing food. I can't seem to get it very sharp either. May be the blade profile being different than my sharpmaker or something. I am gonna have to get the diamond stone set and see if that helps.
13. That make sense. It's no good at opening boxes.
14. Yeah I think they definitely made their viewpoint clear. Time will tell if they actually post or not though.
15. I think my only major dislike about it is that the tip doesn't come to a sharper point.
16. Dang you guys are a tough crowd. :pleased:
17. Blade is about 4.5" to the scales and 4" to the cutting edge.
18. I bought this custom knife a year or so ago (maybe longer) just because I liked how it looked. I am carrying it on my side just for the heck of it today and can't really develop a love for it. I believe the guy described it to me as a camp knife but I'm not certain.   What blade shape would you call this and what chores would it be ideal for?
19. I see what you did there...
20. Ah who needs a gun now that you can carry a claymore on your back? I bet it won't be long before some goober carries a longsword into Starbucks. But that's another thread....   I do love how these business aren't "banning" guns in their stores but rather "respectfully requesting" that you don't bring them in.
21. To me it's obvious he was TRYING to get it to malfunction. The first mag worked fine so he probably switched to a weak grip and let the gun rise a little more trying to induce a limp wrist without it looking like a limp wrist. If it takes all that AND cheap ammo to get it to happen I'd say a Glock isn't a bad gun. It's no M&P though.
22. That gave me a headache just watching it.
23. I guess some of these folks think they are owed a living wage. Gotta get tough and adapt or you go under. As you pointed out in your story you don't get or keep loyalty by being a jerk.
24. Not to speak for willis68 but I believe he stated before he'd just refund it to you. I think about 25 are in.
