Yeah I hate all that bright pink furniture they sell. Try to do something not so gaudy. Pink stain would be cool and unique. And put a stock and that bad boy if you want her to shoot it more than a few times haha.

Lee is sneaky with the two different turret models. The linkage looks alot cheaper on that value model. I can get in it way cheaper than the rock chucker and will leave extra cash for dies and manuals and such. Down the road I'll get another turret and set of dies for 9mm. Ole Larry isn't going crazy with shipping on me anymore either.

I'm gonna go to Bass Pro tonight and see if I can put my hands on the press. I am leaning still towards the RCBS. If for not other reason than I like green better than red...    I have been kicking around a turret press in the back of my head though. They do look a little more efficient.

How does the WTF determine proper length? Does it have a stop in it?

I don't guess I understand how the case trimmer works. Does it just thread into the top of the press and I turn the handle? I see how the standalone units work but don't get the cheaper ones????   Nevermind. Think I found a video.

Thanks. I'll probably be okay with the 3 die set. I won't be sizing just the neck on the rifle and the 9mm won't need to be crimped that well I would't think. Not loading precision ammo for that haha.   So what about case trimming? Is that needed every time you shoot the brass or after so many times? Do the hand trimmers work well? So looking at the Lee dies they have a 4 die set for around $40 and a three die set for around $25. What's the fourth die for? I was looking at getting .223 and 9mm. The 9mm are carbide. The description on their website has me confused though.

So where do i begin on dies for .223? RCBS has so many different sets I'm lost. I would just want a "standard" die set. I do plan to get the lock and load bushing/conversion kit.

That's a good thing. Hopefully whoever I leave it to after me will use it.....but they'll probably just sell it haha.

My brain is telling me to get the Forster but my Mrs. is telling me to get the RCBS  :rofl: . Honestly I'm sure I'll be happy with the RCBS but I'm gonna try to get my hands on a few presses and play with them. I just want a quality press that will last.

Well it's not too much more but I'd have to buy all the extras that comes in the other kit. What's the main difference in them? Just better materials and workmanship? RCBS has a lifetime warranty so I'm not too concerned about that.

Yeah I have a lead on a good used tumbler and have some calipers.     You are right but midsouth says it qualifies. It may be before sale price that counts.

HAha sneaky Amazon. It's actually cheaper from Midsouth. Amazon only gives a $10 rebate where everyone else gives the $50 RCBS rebate. Good eye though.

So would the auto primer be worth it or should I just hand prime?  I guess I can always add it later. From what I've read carbide dies are the way to go as well.

I have narrowed my reloading purchase down to the RCBS Rock Chucker and am wondering if I'd be better served to buy the kit or buy individual pieces. If I can spend a little more and get a better scale or buy the auto primer separately I wouldn't mind. I haven't ran the numbers yet mainly because I don't know the quality or usefulness of the items in the kit. Can anyone give me some advice on this with what the kit currently ships with?    I'll mainly be using it to reload .223 and some 9mm. I am not interested in a turret or progressive at the moment since I am just getting started and prefer to keep all of my digits.  :pleased:

I think they can go at least another 2 years. I think Daryl could become a co-lead man if he hasn't already so there is that much more story to build on. I don't think they will ever end it with any closure though. No cure or anything. I think they will finally hole up somewhere safe and end it with some form of real "rebuilding" and stability.

There would be riots. :pleased:  It's going to happen someday but I would bet in the last season and probably last couple of episodes.
