  1. As much as I despise ATT as a company they have a great service with the U-Verse. The equipment itself is the high point. Charter is still using the old software from 1991 on all of their boxes.
  2. I've only watched three or four so far but I'm bound to run across it.
  3. I figured as much with it running in the morning. Montana is my retirement state so I love watching anything Montana.
  4. It's like cops but in the woods! I have also ran across a show called Warden's on the Outdoor Channel with the same concept. It comes on in the mornings so you would have to set you DVR but it's a good watch. They usually show 2-3 "situations" in 30 minutes. Not much action though.
  5. Ask yourself what you can really do without. We cut the cord for a short while and I missed the college sports and the outdoor channel too much.  :pleased:   We had an antenna and Netflix and we could ALWAYS find something to watch whether it was a movie or a full on binge of a complete series but I always found myself jealous of hearing about the ballgame.   If you can do without sports and the few other specialty channels (Discovery, History, etc.) then you can cut the cord. As NPGunner said with HBO and Showtime coming soon as a separate on demand service you will have even more options.   We currently have Charter (only thing available) in the living room and an antenna backup in the other rooms and my shop that I am satisfied with. They aren't very cheap but if you only get one receiver with DVR it's not terrible and they don't do contracts of any kind so I can cancel whenever I want.   Regarding the actual hardware you can't go wrong with a Roku or Aplle TV. I don't have experience with the Roku but plenty seem to like it. I have mostly Apple products so I went with the Apple TV. Some over the air channels actually have apps on the Apple TV as well so if you miss a show you can stream it on there for free.
  6. Why such a baby scope? My guess is they'd have to re zero it after each shot no matter if it's a Nightforce or a BSA.
  7. All great advice guys. I think I have decided to try to find a cheaper truck on the front end and save up for a 3/4 ton down the road. Seems like I am barking up the wrong tree trying to make a 1/2 ton into a 3/4 ton.
  8. Did you have a gas burner or a diesel? I have been looking around online and craigslist and have seen a few decent deals on higher mileage 3/4 tons. I'm not scared of vehicles over 100k miles if I feel like they ride well and have been taken care of but I know nothing about gas burners in the size range.    Are there any specific engines that have trouble that I should steer away from in that size range?
  9. I like Polaris side by sides but have never tried the ATV's. Probably can't go wrong with either.
  10. Done. It's nice to vote on something and actually win.........
  11. Ford should have offered something like this from the factory.
  12. Well if any of you saw me that day and thought "what and idiot" I guess I deserve it!  :pleased:   Next time I will use an appropriate sized trailer that will take some of the weight but will still want to upgrade the suspension.   My problem is that I have never cared for the gas burning 3/4 tons and I just don't want to pay all that money for a diesel as 99% of the time I don't need that much power. I do however need the extra weight capacity. Are the newer large gas burning engines really gas hogs?
  13. Yeah I don't have anything to back this statement up but I'd be willing to bet the factory springs start to sag way before you get close to the GVWR. A short truck bed load of wet red dirt is probably the most weight I have ever hauled but I'm not sure how much it weight. It was very heavy though.
  14. You can get a nice used one in that price range. The Honda Rancher and Foreman have always been my go to ATV. They both have a drive shaft rather than a belt. I know nothing about belt driven ATV's but it sounds like a problem waiting to happen.
  15. Yeah I would want to go with a full leaf package rather than the helper springs. Assuming that's what your talking about. The only drawback is that more springs equal a stiffer ride. Air ride may take care of this though. I have some research to do.
  16. Any of you guys upgraded the suspension/towing capabilities on your 1/2 ton? I will be looking at getting another truck within the next few months and I can't justify getting a 3/4 ton. I will probably get another silverado or sierra and the 5.3L does just fine for me. There have been a few occasions where I got a load of dirt in the back of the truck and it squatted more than i'd like. I don't plan to grossly overload the truck or anything to where it's unsafe but I would like to look at either an upgraded leaf pack or possibly air ride. I know nothing about air ride so feel free to school me on that. I'd also probably upgrade the brakes within reason if not crazy expensive.
  17. Oh baby that's nice! I am going with the regular blade as well. The tanto looks cool but just won't be practical for me. Just to clarify for everyone else will the tanto blade be two tone or just as it's shown?
  18. We will be praying for ya'll and your grandmother. Sorry you are having to go through that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Mine will grow up shooting but it will probably be .223 air rifles.
  20. The lone comment on the bottom of the page says it all.
  21. Bring your riot gear....
  22. Looks fake to me. The text has a discolored box/haze around it that signifies a bad shop job. The pixels man...the pixels.  :pleased:
