  1. You still need a buffer tube and all that jazz unless you already have it.   Edit: I guess maybe you were including that with the sig brace and not on this list. Either way sounds like a good deal.
  2. Had me scared for a minute! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I have not. Should be getting them anytime now based on what has been said. Anyone know if David has gotten anywhere with a TGO specific meeting?
  4. Cool. That's how I understood it. Just wanted to make sure. Hopefully my SBR won't be too far away. I will do my trust after I get the rifle built followed by the SBR. Suppressor will come last.
  5. So if I were building a stripped lower into a pistol the first time would using a buffer tube that can accept a stock make it a rifle or would that only happen once I install a stock. I would rather not buy a pistol tube unless I just have to. I plan to do as Dolomite suggested and take some good photos with some type of info in the background showing the date. Just to show I actually built it as a pistol.   I guess buffer tubes are cheap enough though so I may just err on the side of caution.
  6. After watching the talking dead I think Carl is going to die now. She said "lose Carl early" and then made an awkward pause. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. No you CAN shoot a whale. Just nothing else.   What circumstance ever arose that would warrant a need for those though?
  8. Haha I hear ya. I'm definitely not in that group.
  9. The .gov will give me a refund though if my lower breaks right???
  10. I feel like we are going to lose someone big on Sunday. Everyone is thinking Glenn but I see either Carol, Daryl or Michonne taking a dirt nap.   Rick will be on lock down the first few episodes of next season until Deanna and Michonne realize that he was right when the wolves start attacking.
  11. What is a high shelf? I also have no intention of full auto.
  12. These are 7075 T6 aluminium. Looks to be the same thing as the PSA lowers but who knows. I've read there are only a few forgers that make these.
  13. As stated in another post I am getting ready to build a 300 blackout pistol that I will be making into an SBR. I know for most intents and purposes a lower is a lower. Just wondering if any of you would SBR a less expensive lower such as a Palmetto (PTAC in particular) or spend bigger bucks. Is there much more to gain from this? I will have plenty of time to put the PSA lower through the paces before I do the SBR stuff so my thinking is that shouldn't matter.
  14. That makes sense. Having never shot a 300 blackout is the recoil substantially more than .223?
  15. I concur with David. Although if you have your eye on a 17 or 19 or another more commonly found model you could just as easily take the deal on the 26 and find someone to trade with. My guess is that more folks are looking for a 26 than a 30S.
  16. To be fair Rick wasn't beating his wife when Shane was doing his thing. Not condoning Rick's behavior but it's hard to compare them evenly in that aspect.
  17. Not a bad idea there. I put 100 rounds through it this weekend with no issues though so I think it's good. If I have any issues with it I'll try that.
  18. Good deal. This guns main function would be hunting but I see no reason to go for a 16" barrel if I'll only change it out later. I won't get many long shots around here anyways.   Also i will be awesome to have not only an SBR but a suppressed one at that.
  19. I know that they said shouldering the Sig brace would change it's intended use but they didn't mention anything about just the bare tube did they?
  20. I just ordered my lower to begin my slow build of a 9" 300 blackout pistol. This will eventually be suppressed and SBR'd after I get a trust, buy a suppressor and do the $200 song and dance for each of those. Until then though I want to be able to hunt whitetail with it. I have no interest in spending money on the sig brace either so I will just have the bare tube. Having never shot an AR pistol is it feasible / easy to shoot this caliber from the shoulder accurately enough for hunting? From what I have read of the ATF's current mood it's perfectly legal to do this????
  21. Gotta have that awesome mask to go with it.
  22. It's hard not to at these prices. I'm at that point though where now that I have a reloading setup I really just want it for the brass and will have some fun shooting it the first time. I'd rather just buy some and let the next guy have some as well.  It's hard for me to not feel like I am contributing to the whole problem by posting up when I see it but I feel like most guys on here are real shooters and aren't going to resell it. It is encouraging though that it seems to be so plentiful.
  23. Just a heads up if anyone needs some but Walmart in Berry Hill has .223, 9mm, .40 and .308 all in stock as of 10 minutes ago. I just picked up  5 boxes of .223 but it was painful not to buy it all haha. It would have been more painful to explain that to my wife.
  24. But that's two words.
  25. We would all get eaten by a group of walkers while arguing over Glock/1911.
