  1. I just looked on NFA Tracker and folks that filed form 1's in late February are just now getting approved.
  2. I still can't look at mine. The way the wonderful efile system is setup once I accidentally deleted mine they have no way to put it back on there for me to check. It's in the que to be done I just can't see the status.
  3. Mine was 30 days on Sunday so I am hoping to get it soon.
  4. My garden has more weeds in it than it does vegetable plants. The corn isn't coming up ( a couple stalks are), the okra isn't coming up (may have planted too deep), the beans are coming up in spots but the bugs are eating them. The potatoes and onions are doing good. My tomatoes came back after the frost got them but I have to replant the peppers and squash which I will do this weekend. I didn't expect much this first year though. Gonna have to spray it or something after harvesting everything. I'm gonna have a fun time tonight getting it presentable again haha. The problem is that it's more of those weedy looking plants than it is grass and I couldn't tell what was a plant and what was a weed.
  5. I'm gonna have to give Tandy a looksy when I get a chance. Thanks for all the info guys. I'll be sure to reach out to you who have offered once I get into it for more advice.
  6. Just wondering what the cost is? Do you have to be a member of GSSF? Me and a buddy might head out there.
  7. My first question would be "How big are your pockets?". Those choices would be difficult for me to pocket manual. If you have really big pockets and get a good holster then I see no issues. I would keep in mind that although a certain gun will fit in the pocket and carry well you  must also consider how fast you can draw the gun. My LCP will fit in any pants I own but I have a certain few pair of Carhartts with very wide opening pockets that make drawing a dream. Others not so much.
  8. Haha I think you are at that point with your knives.
  9. Haha I was hoping he would chime in.  :pleased:
  10. Can any of the resident leather guru's give me some direction on where I should start with leather working? I'm sure Id start making belts, pouches, slings, etc. Basically easier straight stuff but also want to work my way up to holsters and more difficult items. I have always loved anything leather and have said it's a skill I will learn one day. Well I am ready to do that. I'm sure it's best to start out by hand sewing and all that but if there is some certain equipment that I will need no matter of my preferences then I am willing to go ahead an buy it. I'm mainly looking for some recommended reading material or sources to go for supplies.
  11. Standard charging handle. How would the handle affect that? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. My wife hasn't shot mine yet but I get the gas to the nose feeling when I shoot mine from the bench. Not sure if that's a gas block thing or a muzzle device thing. I have plans to get either a kinetic tech device or a battle comp for mine. Two different things I know but I want to try both. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Nice! I'm trying to decide on some type of muzzle device for mine at the moment. I want to use a 10" handguard on my 8.5" barrel but until I can get a supressor I'll have to have something like the KX3 or something similar to what you have. There is a cheaper version but I can't make my mind up. I just like the look of the joint being under the handguard.
  14. Wow. That's a test of patience for sure. I'm sure I won't buy my suppressor until Christmas so I have a good long while before I get one. Also I checked mine about every day since I put it in and it hasn't shown anything. I'm really not sure if it does show anything until it's approved or being looked at.
  15. Just an FYI to anyone checking the status of yours online: I logged into my efile account and it showed not only a submitted application but also a draft. I figured this came from when I was looking back over the submitted application and accidentally hit save again or something. Anyways you have the option to delete your drafts so I did. Well it also removed my submitted application. From what I have read from other folks this doesn't affect the process as far as it being approved goes. I just have no way of checking it online now. I have a ticket in with them about it but I don't think they know why it does that based on forum posts. Oh well. At least I will quit checking it every day now!
  16. Well I guess we don't have enough interest?? Unfortunately I won't be able to make it anyways. Have to go back to the car dealership tonight to pick up my wife's new ride.
  17.  Those are the best kind of buddies!
  18. I don't have a name for you but I can tell you the front sight on mine was a PAIN to get off. I ended up having to cut it off. I'm sure any gunsmith could do a better job than I did but just be aware of it and let them know up front if you want to save it. With that said if someone local to you chimes in and will help it's really not a difficult thing to do. Getting the front sight was by far the hardest part for me. Everything else is just turning and tightening. Getting the small roll pin in the gas block can be tricky but not difficult.
  19. Well luckily that one has sold already and we found a few cheaper ones at Beaman with a few less bells and whistles but still has most everything she wants.   Gonna go check them out tonight and hopefully find one she likes! She has been having a tough time lately missing her family since we moved to Nashville so I feel I need to let here just get whatever she wants within reason. You know the saying about mama not being happy.
  20. Well using liberal logic if the comment offends you enough or "disrespects" you then apparently you have an excuse to do stupid stuff that won't solve any problems. (Kicking his balls).
  21. Dude my wife needs all the help she can get with traction.  :pleased:
  22. Cool. This one is AWD as opposed to 4WD in an out so I'll have to do some research on that. It also has Nav, rear seat monitors, sunroof, etc. Pretty much loaded out. She just loves it so I hope there are no problems with it once we see it.
  23. My wife and I are looking at a 2012 Highlander Limited and I'm hoping to get some feedback on them. They seem to get good reviews and this one literally has everything she wants for what seems to be a decent price. I'm sure it's like any other Toyota and very reliable but I just don't have a lot of history with them.
  24. I can make it assuming we get enough interest.
