  1. In great condition with clear glass. Rarely used on a MK4 22/45 for Steel Challenge. Will come with everything shown including the 407C low profile mounting plate (MadMaccs) for the MK series. Sold
  2. Basically brand new. I bought this a month or two ago, mounted it, shot it one day, went into the safe. It will include the set of Vortex Pro Series 30mm rings (High). These were mounted at the proper torque specs using a FAT wrench. Comes with everything I’m the box except for the bikini cover. Not sure where it got off to. Sold
  3. I have been adding and removing light bearing holsters from various shopping carts for a while now and finally decided to take the plunge on a Floodlight 2. I may be in the minority in that I don’t care for the TLR7A’s or similar sized lights. I mostly have time under the TLR1-HL and was looking for something that fits. I’m a big Tenicor fan but they don’t make my preferred AIWB option to fit the TLR1-HL. I figure that by going with this model, if I just despise carrying that large of a light, I’ll still have a workable holster for almost any double stack gun I could obtain in the future. Even if it’s just for range use at the house. Anyone have or tried one?
  4. I might do some trading on this one. Other Glocks, hunting rifles, 10/22’s, good optics.

  6. I bought this from another member last month and while it's SWEET, turns out rimfire precision matches aren't really something I want to get into. It will come with 1 BX-25 mag, the stock 30 MOA rail, Ruger factory 0 MOA rail, and the manual. Bipod , rings and optic not included. It shot amazingly with CCI Mini Mags so I imagine it will get even better with some good standard velocity ammo. $325 in the Memphis area
  7. I picked this up a few months back and it's been shot VERY little since. It will come with everything that comes from the factory except for the MOS plates. But let's be honest, none of us use those. For some reason, the guy wanted to keep them. $500 in the Memphis area. Open to trades. Thanks.
  8. Perfect setup for the newbie DSLR user. I’m going in a different direction and am off loading most of my gear. -D610 body in great shape. No major wear or cracks. Well taken care of, used condition. ~17,500 shutter count. Box, manual, strap, etc. Nikkor 50mm 1.8G Lens - Like new with caps , shade and bag Nikkor 24-120mm 1:35-5.6D lens - older used with a few marks on the front lens. Doesn’t come through in pics. Great mechanical shape. Comes with shade. -Offbrand battery grip -Basically new MH-25A Nikon Charger -Basically new EN-EL15C Nikon Battery -MC-DC2 Nikon Remote Shutter release -Peak Design Slide strap with all accessories from factory. -Peak Design Cuff strap with all accessories. Looking for $700 shipped obo for everything or trade for something interesting. Hunting rifles, handguns, whatever. And I am open to reasonable offers. I have a nice Manfrotto travel tripod I might sell as well if the buyer is interested but it would be hard to ship.
  9. My Next Gen arrived today! Razor sharp and just the right size for EDC. I’m probably going to want a horizontal and/or kydex sheath but I kind of dig the leather. I’m afraid this is going to lead me down a rabbit hole I don’t need to peer into…. because I do still want that Genesis
  10. I think I'm going to go with the medium grit spyderco ceramic bench stone. From what I've read just today, it's fairly easy to destroy diamond stones with too much pressure, improper break in, etc. The ceramic stones are supposed to give good feedback and last forever with no flat spots like soft stones. May be something good for me to learn on. I played around a bit more today with my pocket diamond stone and was able to get a decent edge. Not paper slicing but close. The surface area is just so small for inexperienced hands to get any feedback.
  11. Yeah I've looked into the wicked edge but there's no way I can justify the cost at this point. But it's AWESOME. I'm sort of answering my initial question with this comment but I'd guess since bushcraft / camping is my main motivation for learning this skill, I should probably go with learning freehand method. I think I'd have the patience to learn it but I clearly need to learn up on it a bit before purchasing.
  12. So I mentioned in another post that I'm getting an LT Wright Genesis. Well I actually cancelled that order and got the Next Gen instead, but that's beside the point of this post. I am looking to improve my sharpening capabilities. My current kit consists of the Spyderco sharp maker with the standard medium and fine rods. I also have a Smith's pocket diamond sharpener that I keep in my bag just in case. I feel like I am making my knives less sharp at this point. My main pocket knife is S30V so I suspect the ceramic rods of the Sharpmaker aren't doing much. I feel like I've made progress on a few knives that are 1095 but even then, nothing great. I figure it's possible that my current angles don't match up with the 30 ro 40 degrees the sharpmaker offers. I also have a few custom knives that are stainless but I am unsure of the variety. This LT knife is going to be A2 steel. Should I just by a decent set of slabs with base and learn how to do it by hand/feel (this is my uninformed / preferred path) or try some type of guided system? Any recommendations? I don't want to spend more than $200 but want to get good stuff that will last. If that means buying over time, so be it.
  13. I’m actually excited to have a steel that will patina over time.
  14. Anyone have experience with LT Wright Knives? I’ve been in the hunt for a good all around camp/bushcraft knife and this one seems to fit the bill. A bit pricier than what I’m used to but seems on the inexpensive side relative to other more custom knives it is similar to. I ordered this morning so hope to build a fire with it next weekend. 4.25” blade. 9” overall. A2 steel Scandi grind
  15. Worst part is that the scope arrived today but the rings didn’t.
