  1. Will do. I've read good stuff about them. The fit and finish on the hand guard is nothing to write home about but it's not bad by any means. Everything else on it seems just fine.
  2. haha. You already built it or doing it now? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. FINALLY got this one done. PSA Lower Radical Firearms complete 10.5" upper 1-8 twist melonited barrell. Magpul K2 Grip Nikon P-300 BLK 2-7 scope on M-223 mount. BCM Mod 3 charging handle Magpul ACS-L Stock Magpul ASAP plate Condor Cobra single point sling I will eventually add an adjustable gas block but I want to see how it performs with the standard block first. Now I just have to figure out how to reload for it haha. Apparently Lee dies aren't the greatest for re-sizing cut brass.
  4. These ISIS cowards never seem to stick around to finish the fight. "See wonders"? Give me a break.
  5. Well that makes sense haha. When you said that they locked the glass doors my brain said "that'll help".
  6. Cool thanks. I am using this one.   http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fastest-300-Blackout-Case-Cutting-Cut-Off-and-Trimmer-Jig-with-New-Leveler-/131118141716?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e87401114   I believe I have it set up to cut rather uniformly. My only concern is how uniform the cut has to be to bypass the trimming step. With the small variations I'm getting in the lengths I am hoping to just set it as low as I can go and not worry about it.
  7. True. But I would guess the intent of the sign is to prevent anyone from getting shot. Just further proof of how ridiculous the sign is.
  8. That sign on the door didn't work.
  9. I got it going last night but am going to have to run them back through this evening. I had the jig set to cut 1.358" but somehow it moved and cut them about 1.37". I am just wondering how much they will stretch when re sized and if I should be cutting them shorter than that to begin with. I am getting different numbers on the minimum length.
  10. Well the upper shipped today! Still no word from the good ole' ATF.  You other guys must have slipped an extra $20 in the mail to them haha.
  11. Is there a certain length you are cutting the cases to avoid having to trim? Looks like 1.348" is the minimum and I am assuming they are going to stretch a little when sizing. I've got to figure out how to get this thing to cut straight now. I'm not expecting much in the way of straightness from a $30 saw. The die I got (reloadimizer) has a height adjustment screw on the end so that should fine.
  12. cool. I'm guessing you set it slightly smaller than you want the final length? Or do they not stretch much when sized? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Bumping this one back up for a new question. Just got in my jig and getting the chop saw today. Would you guys think I need to deburr each case before running it up in the die assuming the edges aren't just nasty? From what I can see the harbor freight chop saw makes a pretty clean cut.
  14. I also feel I was born in the wrong era haha.   Try finding shuffle all on there. They hid that too. I had to get online to find it.
  15. I had something get in my garden and eat up my tomatoes. Luckily I had just picked a bunch. I didn't have the fence plugged up since I was not having an issue with animals up to that point. I believe it was a raccoon or something small. Didn't see any deer tracks.
  16.   My neighbors are gonna wonder what the heck I'm doing running up and down the wall of my barn when I practice this haha. The worst part is that I had just got done talking with the SO about what normally get's folks on that stage!  :surrender:
  17. Well I'm embarrassed to say I got DQ'd on the house stage. Coming back across to get the other half/side of the house I hugged the wall to much and broke the 180. Not sure by how much but hopefully just barely. It sucks because I always make a point to be safe first I guess I just tried to go too fast. Lessons learned though. Still had a lot of fun hanging out and getting sunburned. Thanks to all for making it happen.
  18. Looks nice! Pretty much what my build will look like except for the optic. If my upper gets here before the stamp I'm gonna be one unhappy camper. Who am I kidding. Nobody is sad when the brown truck pulls up.
  19. They had to throw the word "loophole" in there.
  20. Welcome! Yep I'd second Cedar City. My neighbor is actually the president of the club and while I haven't been out there yet he's a real nice guy and it looks like a nice outfit.
  21. Really? I am seeing reports both ways so there must be some variables.
  22. Any of you guys loaded up 300 blackout using 2400 powder? I picked up some of it and am wanting to load 125gr bullets for hunting. The Hornady load ranges seem really week.
  23. If it's the one you told me about that's blasphemy!
