  1. Anyone around mid TN put up a fence in rocky soil? I am having to redo the front section of a barb wire fence to accommodate the new horse and am going to a wooden fence. It's not a long stretch and would be about 10 posts from what I remember. I'm wondering what the best way to deal with the rock is? Jackhammer? Some type of drill? Auger with a hard bit? I'll be renting whatever it is I need.   I'm also going to have someone come out and quote it but I have heard fencing is high even for a simple fence. I could always get them to put just the posts in as well......
  2. Dang they took his truck too!
  3. Will do! I love cooking on the skillet but I always make a mess and stink the house up. I don't mind but my wife does.
  4. I'm gonna have to try the skillet idea. My grill won't get that hot either unless I turn on all four burners and waste alot of propane. Been wanting to get a good charcoal one for the good meat and use the propane for the lesser stuff.
  5. More cowbell.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I'm really hoping you get yours before Christmas.........so I can see it and make sure it's what I want to buy.  If it makes you feel any better I haven't got a chance to sight mine in since getting the stamp. I shot it a few days ago and quickly learned I want a better trigger. For a non-magnified optic I don't mind mil-spec but with the scope I'd like something a little lighter.
  7. Here's a few on ebay.   http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Remington-58-Sportsman-16-Ga-Fore-Stock-Forend-Forearm-OEM-Original-/131560993509?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1ea1a572e5   http://www.ebay.com/itm/Remington-58-Factory-Walnut-Forend-Forearm-Forestock-Fore-Stock-16-ga-20-ga-/311414577285?hash=item4881c15885
  8. Man I hate that I'm gonna miss this. I'd love to stretch the legs on my new G42.
  9. Interesting topic to discuss. What do you bet they have some guns that shoot more than 10 rounds without reloading?
  10. Those do look fun. I like scenarios too. Put's a little story to the action.
  11. Oh I had that bad boy built the day I got the email. That reminds me I still have to put up some pics.
  12. Right you are! I gave them a call and oddly enough he told me to email them rather than him just fixing it haha.
  13. So will the ATF mail me an original stamped copy or is what they emailed me all I get? The emailed PDF has DRAFT watermarked across it.
  14. I'll have to say the air soft looks pretty awesome. Not very expensive either and they seem to have been molded exactly like the real thing.
  15. That sounds dangerously close to ANOTHER hobby. :pleased:  I guess I could lump them together though.
  16. I'm basically looking for something I can holster in my EDC holster as well as competition holster. I want to be able to draw and fire as well as transition between targets while dry firing. Do air soft versions have an auto reset like that? I've handled some of them but never a Glock clone.
  17. I may do that eventually but at $75 I may give this a shot. I just like the fact that it is used in the actual gun I shoot. I'm gonna look at more reviews of these if I can find them.
  18. All these .22 posts are making me want to break mine out again!
  19. Has anyone used one of these?   http://dryfiremag.com/index.html   I am wanting a cheaper way to practice dry firing without spending the bucks on a SIRT. Seems like this would be a good option. You don't get the laser but I don't know that I want that anyways.
  20. You know I feel the same way on one hand but on the other hand the arrogance of that guy and others on the matter just pisses me off. I can't say I am in the situation or have the resources to be the test case but I dang sure hope someone has the balls to tell them to go fly a kite.   Frankly I think we all have cause to be "offended" by it. How is it that people walk on eggshells around the issues of gay whatever, or civil rights (not belittling those), but when it comes to 2A rights no one worries about saying "nope not in my house." Especially when it isn't even their house!
  21. I love how these guys are basically saying that they don't care about what the laws say. They think they can do whatever they want.
  22. Yep. Nice to have that on the books now.
  23. I don't disagree with you. Anything can happen but that's what the ranges have insurance for.
  24. Got approved today finally! Filed April 17th.
