  1. All good ideas guys. Since I'm gonna have to lube and tumble them again I'm thinking it would be easiest to just push them out and start over. I'm not worried about losing 50 primers and would rather just do that. I didn't realize they could be pushed out easily without igniting. I will wear my hearing protection just in case. :pleased:     That's a great idea! I failed to mention I am having trouble with these dies forming the brass correctly and will probably be getting a set of RCBS dies. I'm gonna experiment a little with these though and maybe try to resize them, rotate them in the shell holder and size again.
  2. I will be pulling a few blackout rounds today that I screwed up and am wondering how you guys handle the primed brass when re-sizing. In my Lee dies I can't just remove the decapping rod since it also expands the neck. Maybe I don't need to worry about this though? I would consider deactivating them and just using new primers since it's only about 50 cases but the last thing I want is to deal with the maybe of popping live primers. Any ideas?
  3. I had a great time today. Thanks for all who helped. I believe those still target were enchanted with some sort of no hit voodoo magic.
  4. Wrong thread
  5. yeah I'm hoping to put my hands on one locally to see if it's worth it. I haven't attempted to polish mine yet so that may be what I do first. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. I've come to the conclusion that I hate single point slings but I feel like this one will serve me well when riding a four wheeler. This is a hunting gun and I just wanted something to hang on to the thing while riding. Once I get off and into the stand I just undo the little clip and leave the sling on. Should work out just fine.   Also to give a little further review on the upper I have had zero malfunctions with factory ammo. It doesn't seem to like my reloads though. I haven't diagnosed exactly why but they seem to either not go into battery completely or are very tight and hard to extract. I had an issue before with OAL but this issue I believe is happening at the case head. I suspect when converting the 5.56 brass I did not completely form the head. I have heard this issue is hit or miss with Lee dies. I am waiting on my bullet puller to come in so I can try again.   I have also discovered the need for a better trigger........
  8. I just bought a Condor sling (not that one) from another member on here and while I don't have any other experiences with single point slings it seems to be good stuff. Made in the USA too.
  9. Looks nice! Is it just me or is the muzzle device pointing down a little? May just be how an AK barrel lines up????
  10. Well I FINALLY got some pics up for you. Updated the original post.
  11. Well I ended up putting a 7 blade plug on it just to make sure everything was correct at the plug. I have a ground issue somewhere. With the trailer just sitting connected to the truck the lights are all on but the blinkers act funny. They both alternate blinking. Once I move though and get a solid ground to the truck everything works as it should including the brakes. I don't want to deal with all that crap though so I'll probably just the the shop go over it and fix it all up nice. Piece of mind is a good thing with a horse in the back.
  12. Sounds awesome. I'll be there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Is this IDPA rules? I'm glad to have something close this year! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Yeah I do have a brake controller installed. It's in a 2004 Silverado.
  15. That's who I'm taking it to!
  16. Yeah I was thinking of doing that tonight. Those connectors are cheap enough. I didn't think about using a battery though to test each one. If the inside lights hadn't come on at one point I'd assume they were bad but it really has me thinking it could just be something in the adapter  or wiring at the plug.
  17.   The weird thing is it has a brakeaway switch but not box/battery that I could see. I honestly didn't look in every nook and cranny since it was dark though. Maybe they put a switch on it factory with the option to add the box??
  18. So my wife and I went to pickup a used horse trailer last night. The trailer has a 6 pin connector and my truck has the 7 blade. Using a 6 to 7 adapter I plugged them in. The lights worked but not very well and the brakes didn't work at all. We the drove the trailer down the road and back and at some point the brakes locked up and all of the lights came on alot brighter including the interior auxillary lights.   After getting home I researched and found out that there are two standards for the center pin on a 6 plug. I took the adapter apart and reversed the two wires and now the tail lights as well as brakes seem to be working correctly. However my interior lights are not working.   Does anyone have any idea how/where auxiliary lights are normally wired on these?   I have to get a new jack put on it so I may just let them take a look at this as well..........
  19. You guys just cost me more money.......but saved me some time.

  21. Does this chamfer/deburr too? I can't tell from the picture and don't know if that's actually possible with one operation. The picture kind of looks like it does?   I will be getting a WFT very soon. Cutting, trimming, deburring and chamfering just 100 blackout brass had me ready to give it all up haha. Granted I don't have the trimmer with the wooden knob.
  22. Yeah the coughing made me wonder....Patient zero maybe? :ugh:
  23. Really?!?!?! Dang it. Well at least I still have The Strain....unless they take off too.
  24. Yeah. I think they are doing a great job of slowly building into the "walker" threat. I just don't think they can creep around it for another episode. I thought the coolest bit in this episode was one neighbor having a freaking birthday party while the other neighbor was loading up to get out of dodge.   Also interested to see what the group calls them in this show.
