  1. If you order online from northern tool you can get a $50 or $100 gift card. Just sped $50 more for the $100 gift card. Free shipping. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  2. I've just about talked myself into a Honda eu2000i. Just for the fact we can use it for camping as a bonus. From all the videos I've watched on it I can run the essentials I am looking for. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  3. Could be the case. I didn't see it in person when they did it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  4. That's odd. They actually ran mine on a small generator to "prime" it due to the fact I didn't have electricity out there at the time. I guess we will see. That's really the least important on my list. If the water isn't hot I can't really do much with it. Just want to see and keep the food. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  5. Thanks for all the tips guys. I won't be running any sensitive electronics. Basically just lights, fridge, freezer, and maybe the well. I plan to setup a propane heater inside with the tank in the shop for emergency heat. I'm thinking my new house will be tight enough and small enough to stay warmish for a day or so. And we have plenty of blankets. We also plan to use all Led bulbs where we can. Sounds like a 5k watt may do what I want. I like the price point on the Black Max 5k too! 6. I'm looking to purchase a backup portable generator for power outages. We usually have at least one a year and it may take a day or two to get fixed. I'm basically wanting to keep the refrigerator going along with some lights and possibly the well pump. I've seen contradicting numbers on what size I would need. I'd like to hear from you folks that have one. Ill be connecting it into the system through my welder outlet with the main breaker off. There is a large price gap in between a 5k watt model and the 8k~9k models so I'd prefer to save the dough where I can. It will likely only be used those one maybe two times a year. I don't want to shell out the dough for a Honda either. I'm looking at less than $1000. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
  7. Bump. I am going to have to remove some material so any suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I read that as you get $40 on top of the replacement plates. Maybe not though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I'm running a Dawson ice magwell with Dawson extended base pads on my 1911 and they will not fit in the idpa box as is. I'm going to have to take some off of the bottom of the base pads. What would you guys recommend? A file? Belt sander? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Wow that's gotta be going a good bit faster with a 200 gr. I'm gonna try out the 5gr load tomorrow and see how I do. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. My lee manual says the minimum for a 230gr bullet is 5gr. We all know that's not true but I'm wondering what somebody you idpa guys may have tried to get close to major power factor. I know most run titegroup but I have some bullseye and want to use it up. I can tell you that 5 gr of bullseye seems hotter than the factory stuff. I saw online 4.4 may be a good starting point. I'm gonna try to get access to a chrono soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Yeah I'm in the same boat. My logo was also crooked but they are sending me another. The shirt fit great before I washed it but afterwards it's just about too short to wear. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. So has anyone purchased the rail mount 2? I just realized the 2 isn't "dual fuel" like the 1 and will only accept cr123s. I like the idea of accepting AAs as well as cr123s but 625 lumens is hard to pass up versus 325. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Haha I was the one with the typo. I meant to say am I correct but it grouped it together. Thanks guys. I'm gonna go ahead and order one of these. Now just 5 or so more months until I get my suppressor. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. You confused me. Just to make sure it wasn't a typo. It does come with the switch? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I think I'll go with the rail mount 1 to save some space on the already short hand guard. Seems like a lot of light and gear for the money! I actually carry a protac 2l every day. Am incorrect in thinking it comes with the pressure switch? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Anyone have any recommendations for a light for my sbr? I have a round tube hand guard with a rail on top. I also have the option of installing a Magpul rail section in the slots. I am looking at mounting a tlr-1 at 12 o clock with the flip up sight just behind it. Also thought of having a rail section on the side and using some type of forward set mount to run the light at about 1 o clock. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Awesome. I'm looking forward to it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I also used all things engraved. They do a great job. I watched a YouTube video by mr guns and gear about efiling and followed it step by step. Didn't have one issue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. But why???? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I purchased my supressor from silencershop and they mailed the form 3 on 3/18 and the form 4 on 4/18 before the form 3 was cleared. Apparently they have cleared that method with the ATF. Hopefully that means I'm in line for the shortest wait. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. So even on my truck calling for 60 in front and 80 in the back I should run that with no load? That's the max the tire will take.
  23. I'll be able to back up for at least 150 yards or more from the back berm to shoot or sight in rifles. I actually have a longer 30 acre field to shoot rifle in as well. I'm mainly talking about the side berm depth to shoot handgun into at a 45 degree angle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I know the answer should be "the bigger the better" but in this case I want to build it big enough but no more than that. Sounds crazy right?   My current plan is to build it 20 yards wide and 30 yards deep. The deeper I make it the closer it will be to my driveway and I'd like a little space between the back berm and the drive.   Can anyone give me an idea of a normal distance of an outdoor pistol bay? Should be big enough to setup some good IDPA stages at this size. I walked the width distance off at a local range and it was roughly 18 or 19 yards but I neglected to walk the depth.
  25.     This is only a 10.5" barrel so the guard is like 10". It seems pretty solid too so hopefully that won't be an issue. I'm on the fence now about going with a nice set of fixed or folding irons for my primary of just running Magpul MBUS with a red dot. I just don't have any hands on experience with anything other than MBUS in order to make a decision.
