  1. Anyone else have a 36? Just picked one up from a member about a week ago. Will get pics up soon.
  2. There product is limited to 100 items. I am not opposed to switching from quickbooks if needed. Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk 2
  3. Here's the scoop. We operate a tractor parts business and have well over 1000 parts we sell online and over the phone. We use quickbooks enterprise to keep up with out inventory and process the phone orders. We also currently have an online shopping cart through GoDaddy which is starting to show it's weakness. Not only will it not reliably link with quickbooks but it is also very very slow on the backend side we work on. Our main goal is to keep our inventory straight and for the online store to automatically deduct items sold from quickbooks. I would like for all changes to the items made in quickbooks to reflect on the online store automatically as well if this is possible. I am looking to get a streamlined system setup where we can continue to take phone orders AND have what I mentioned above. I realize there are numerous shopping carts available and am hoping someone has experience with this. We also may be interested in having someone set all of this up for us. Kind of a "turn key" deal. If you have any info or comments please let me know. Thanks!
  4. I made a post some time ago about writing a letter to the management at the Osaka regarding them being posted. Well some time went by and every time I drove past I saw the sign still up. The wife did not like it one bit that I refused to go in there since the did not respond to my letter. Eventually though I caved and decided to disarm and go in for takeout. Upon getting a close up look at the sign they had removed the "slash circle" from around the gun and also removed the "NO" from the "NO GUNS ALLOWED" phrase leaving "GUNS ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES". I assume they did this to show support for the gun toting folks but still it made me upset (not at them) to know that I had been bypassing them for so long when they probably weren't posted!
  5. Well I have decided and signed up for the Range USA "Self Defense Handgun" class on the 14th of May. I will probably give a short review after the class so stay tuned. If Rangemaster will allow it I may take the Level III course from them next. If they require I take the level II course to start I will not. I want to give them both a chance and want the best training possible.
  6. I like to think I am my own security detail.
  7. Learn something every day! Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk
  8. Last night the my wife and I went to Range USA for date night to do some shooting and eat. If any of you have seen the movie Date Night I am referencing the part where Steve Carrell screams "Oh Kill Shot!" when the bad guy turns the gun sideways at him. This place has glass in between the restaraunt and range so you can watch while you eat. This gentleman and his wife/girlfriend were shooting non stop rapid fire at first so they caught our attention. After they shot about two boxes of ammo he backed the target allllll the way back to 25 yds and shot a magazine or two. Nothing wrong with that I guess but just seemed funny for some reason since they were shooting sub compacts. I looked at my wife and said "I bet he pulls a kill shot next". I lgot up to go sign up for a training class and when I came back in she was red in the face from laughing. Sure enough he was teaching his grilfriend the "kill shot"! I think I even saw him pump the gun forwards a few times when firing. It ended the trip on a very funny note!
  9. As far as the extra magazine is concerned alot of folks myself included carry one or two extra in case of magazine failure. My gun will not fire without the magazine in. If the bottom plastic retainer gets broken and the guts fall out I have a paperweight unless I have a spare. Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk
  10. I had read that 2nd statistic before. Sounds like pretty good results! Anyone have any ideas as to who the trainer would be for this specific class at either facility?
  11. Thanks for the info Slasher! Range USA does have the edge though with the date night special haha. It's hard to find that much stiff for your money anywhere else. It has also got my wife more into guns. Anyway's back to the thread.
  12. I realize there was a thread about this a year or two ago but I am hoping to get a current feel for which training facility I may "get more out of". I have never been to Rangemaster but the wife and I frequent the date night at Range USA. It seems that many dislike Rangemaster because the guys come off as "A-holes" or that they get the feeling they are walking amongst the gods (there words not mine). I am mainly interested in the quality of training and can deal with a tough no-nonsense instructor. I will either be taking the Level II handgun class at Rangemaster or the Self Defense Handgun I at Range USA. Rangemaster requires half the ammo as Range USA so I will definately get more trigger time at Range USA. Still that is not that is not a deal breaker. Help me decide!
  13. S&W 5946 IWB with two extra mags OWB.
  14. Thats the best thing about using the metal spring clips. I had originally thought " How in the heck would I be able to conceal a 5946 with a tuckable holster?!" Last night though I tried it and it actually conceals better than any holster/gun combo I have ever had. That is mainly due to the fact that this is a well made holster and actually holds the gun deep and close to my body. I love it!
  15. I hate to revive an old thread but I am hoping with a little more detail on my part some advice can be given. I just spoke to Wollf Springs and ordered a hammer spring set with a 16,17,and 18lb spring. The original is 20lb. He said if it is being used in self defense (it is) that he would not mess with the trigger return spring so I am not. Does anyone have any experience with this model or any third gen smith with reducing the hammer spring weight? I am testing the reliability with the cheap federal ammo. If it can shoot that reliably it should be able to shoot anything. Also any general knowledge with replacing springs is welcome. My goal here is to lighten up that monster trigger pull while staying reliable. Thanks!
  16. They are but are screwed in. I actually removed them, grinded down the posts and added some spring. Clips lower down. It was riding a little higher than I liked but that fixed it. No fault of the builder as he told me beforehand that it might ride high. The loops do look cool though. Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk
  17. It ended up being the ride height was too high. I remedied it last night by drilling some holes in some old spring clips and mounting them in place of the loops. It sets alot lower now and feels much better. I have some permanent clips on the way from Tandy leather now.
  18. I have the good belt. Maybe just too tight?? I'll link to the pic I have on here if anyone can tell on the design. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/46505-gun-belt-holster-and-mag-pouch-from-rg-leather/page__fromsearch__1
  19. I am not new to IWB but I have never had an all leather "real deal" IWB before. It is very uncomfortable about mid way through the day now and I am just wondering if this is normal and will eventually wear in. Granted this is a large heavy gun (S&W 5946) but I carried a Ruger Security Six IWB before this with no problem. I was using a single clip IWB leather holster for the security six. It's not really the bulk of the gun that is uncomfortable. It is the hard edges where the holster stops that are digging into my upper leg. It may ride a little high but this may be necesarry since I have a 4" barrell. Any thoughts and advice would be appreciated.
  20. A,B and E would be the only ones I would agree with. Being a christian nation and all I think it has already been made clear in the bible that marriage is between a man and woman. As far as the other two I don't have time to elaborate. (At work ) Edit: I will clarify my stance on A. I don't believe they should need to define it.
  21. Welcome!
  22. Just got these in today FINALLY. I thought I had a gun belt before (Don Hume) but this sets the bar high. Prices were great too. That's his gun and mags in the holster but I have the same model without the safety ( S&W 5946). Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  23. I guess it could be worse after all.
  24. I have the 5946 DAO model as my EDC. I love it! It is very accurate and recoil is almost non-existent.
  25. I have never felt three weeks go by slower than they are now. I ordered a gun belt, holster and mag pouch from RG Leather and his turn-around time at the time of ordering was three weeks. How do you guys cope with this?? I know it will be worth the wait as this is my first "real" leather purchase.
