  1. Yeah i have used it three days now and its pretty comfortable. It must be worn at about 4 oclock due to the grip angle.
  2. I wasn't real close with this dog but it still hurt. I went home and gave my three a big hug and a bunch of treats. I encourage everyone to do the same. It made my day better. Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2
  3. I got to work this morning and our invisible fence had been hit by lightning and we were missing a dog. I searched the entire property and finally found her in a ditch by the highway. The boss is gone on vacation and I am the only one here so I could not leave and take her to the vet. He asked me to just put her down so I didn't really have a choice. She was hurt pretty bad so I'm sure the vet would have put her down either way. Her name was Gracie. She was a pit bull and had just began warming up to me. It was pretty hard to do as I am a dog lover so any of you praying guys out there I would appreciate your prayers.
  4. Anyone have any experience with this holster? Just bought one off of ebay for $27 shipped. I will never use the locking ability but I liked that you could carry either strong side or cross draw and that it had the retention. With all the recent debate over OC/CC/Chick fil-a I have done some "soul searching" and might try my hand at OC'ing in a few locations. http://www.desantisholster.com/store/SEARCH-BY-HOLSTER-OR-ACCESSORY/BELT-HOLSTERS/FDO-with-Lock-Hole/Glock/19-23-32
  5. I never thought of getting a scanner. I contemplated having one in mu truck but thought it too mall ninja'ish. Thanks for the tip! Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2
  6. Well you learn something new everyday! Thanks! I hope I spelled maroon right. let me google it.......
  7. Oh! didn't know that. Let me check it out.
  8. Can you please change my screen name from bendbolden to maroonandwhite? Thanks!
  9. Yeah that's the gist of what I got online. I'm young though and should be able to handle it. I haven't even turned in the app yet though and am just hoping for an interview. Anyone know what to expect if I do get called for one? I know they will do a thorough background check and actually call all of my references.
  10. As stated above I will be applying for a police dispatch position and am hoping to get some advice on what to expect should I get an interview and some extra information on the possible job duties itself. I have researched it online and have the general idea but it never hurts to ask. I do have experience in the dispatch field from the trucking business. Thanks!
  11. Not that I know of. But I have been wrong before.
  12. Thanks for everyone's support. Please let us all know if you happen to get a response from Malco. I have not yet.
  13. I am not sure if they are all posted but I imagine so. Maybe we cam get this changed! Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2
  14. I am asking any of my fellow TGO'ers in the Memphis area or anywhere for that matter to please get on the Malco.com website and send them an email voicing your opinion on the gunbuster signs they now have posted. My boss and I have already sent letters/emails and maybe a decent number of emails will change their mind. I don't normally ask this for any and every business I see posted but going to the movies is a love of mine and I hate not being able to go. I know I could go anyways and not carry but I am very passionate about not giving my business to anyone who posts unless necessary. Also for the obvious safety reasons. I would appreciate it greatly!
  15. Went to go see the new batman last night. Bought my tickets and as we were entering I noticed a new gunbuster sign on the door! I promptly asked for a refund and explained why. Of course the ticket buy was anything but interested. Time to write another letter. This is the malcontent in collierville but I am not sure if there other locations are posted. 16. ^^ Nice! I do like his music though.
  17. I wanna play!: I don't mean to be Diggin' up Bones but he did have a rough past with a lot of alcohol involved. On a serious note though that just goes to show that money doesn't buy happiness.
  18. That's sad to hear. Everyone has there demon's though.
  19. I kind of think it may be too short and pushing on my head just the slightest bit. I didn't have any wind trouble before at stock height. I did have a different seat but I doubt it changed anything that much. Maybe I'll just pop some advil and deal with it haha. Everyone told me though if I change one thing on a motorcycle I will have to change everything else.
  20. Good thought! I got a good deal on a windshield from a fella in Canada but it will take a few days to get here. Hopefully that will solve it. I just went out and tinkered with it a little. I closed my eyes and just put the bars in the most comfortable position for how I normally ride. Since it only starts up when I ride it very well may be wind iniduced. That would make sense since I did not change anything from lowered to stock height except for the windshield orientation changing.
  21. Mid to low. Base of the neck basically. Will do on the pics.
  22. Well maybe since I took it off it's just working in reverse. Maybe it will work itself out haha.
  23. Oh ok. Yeah that's what I thought you meant but wasn't sure. I think I don't fight the bike but have never made a conscious effort to notice. I will evaluate myself this afternoon. The pain starts after I begin riding. Who knows it may actually be a combo of the windshield and bar. It's just odd that it shows up right when I take the lowering kit off.
  24. Not sure what you mean. I don't do anything special that I am aware of. Definitely not gripping hard though. Just enough to hold on.
