  1. I am lucky in that most places I frequent are HCP friendly. I am not the type to say I WILL NOT go anywhere that I can't carry but I try my best not to if it is an optional thing like a restaurant or movie. What's that saying? "Common sense isn't too common" or something like that.
  2. It's just hard to imagine folks know THAT much about sports and the players. I guess it's no different than knowing all the stuff about guns or video games that I do (or think I do anyways). I do actually envy these guys a little though. I do miss out on some good conversations and/or arguments.
  3. Just curious about how much you guys follow your sports. I like watching my team play but I do not know the ins and outs of every player and stats and all that. I am not knocking anyone that does either. I am just wondering if I am the oddball or not.
  4. Count me in.
  5. Nope. It looks like they have their mind made up. Hopefully it won't take another tragedy happening to get them to change there minds. I am missing out on a lot of good movies but I am standing firm and not giving them my business until they do.
  6. haha I saw that you had a bionic and thought you might be asking that. I just complained of the Wifi/3g/4g dropping issues as well as the phone randomly shutting down or locking up after a period of inactivity. They will try to make out like it is a remote issue but trust me; it has been well documented with them on these issues. I just didn't take no for an answer. They would not swap me over to an iPhone (which is what I asked for in the beginning) but did offer basically any of the comparable Droid phone, HTC's, etc. Just let them know that you know all of this troubleshooting and swapping sim cards and all that will not fix the issues.
  7. Just an update. I was able to convince Verizon to swap out both Droid Bionic's (Mine and the wife's) for the Droid Razr for free. I have had it up and running a few hours now on ICS and I am impressed with it so far. I may have been a little quick to jump the gun on the android OS. If it turns out to be stable for the next few days I may change my vote back to android as stability was the ONLY thing that made me choose the iPhone over android.
  8. Pretty much my situation as well. We do have debt on cars and house though. We are both getting better; me at saving money and her at buying herself something nice every now and then. We fought about money ALOT when we first got marries though.
  9. I just changed my vote to iPhone. I have the Droid Bionic with Verizon and it's a great phone.....when it works. I am constantly dropping my data connection as well as the wifi connection. Supposedly when the new software update (been waiting on this for months now) comes out this will be fixed. It will also randomly shut off after being inactive for a certain amount of time. If Androids were as stable an the iPhone then I would say Android all the way; no contest. The fact is they are not. IPhone wins.
  10. Sorry for your loss. You and all affected will be in our prayers.
  11. I saw a joke video. Did I miss something? Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2
  12. That's cool. Hopefully it turns out in our favor.
  13. Sounds good man. Even though we all got a response from them I am beginning to think it is falling on deaf ears. Piperton is right down the road from me!
  14. Yeah I know all about "fret fingers"!! I also bought the pachmayr slip on but didn't really like it. It slows my draw down considerably because the gun sets so close to my side. I figured as much; I will just suck it up and shoot another couple hundred through it.
  15. Oh ok gotcha. Well I love the grip angle and just the general way the gun fits my hand. It's just the texture of the grip on the finger grooves, sides and rear that are kind of irritating my hand.
  16. I don't get it...
  17. I just picked up a Glock 27 Gen 3 and love everything about it except for the grip texture. It just seems to be eating my hands alive after 100 or so rounds at the range. I realize that may just be the nature of the beast with a sub-compact .40 and coming from a Glock 19 is a good little jump in felt recoil. My question is will I get used to this after a while? I don't have baby hands but at the same time I don't have very rough hands and the gun fits my hand well. I also don't really want to add any aftermarket grips to it since it fits so well now. I am also not big on modifying the grips.
  18. Man you must have one heck of a belt! I almost picked up an ankle holster last night to try out but just didn't think I'd like it.
  19. If only our pets could live as long as we do. The worst part of having a pet is losing them.
  20. I understand. Curiosity gets the best of me most of the time...
  21. What did they say?? Details!
  22. Same here. I'd give them a call. I'm sure it was probably just a mistake. I wouldn't be expecting anything in the mail either.
  23. This pretty well sums up my opinion. I just have to think that the thief's life might be more important to someone else than my things (a mother, father or spouse). But as with most everything else regarding deadly force it's all about the circumstances.
