  1. I finally got fed up with getting bad replacement devices from Verizon that are supposedly "like new" and bought an iphone 4 off of ebay. I finally recieve the phone and call in to activate it and they tell me the ESN number is logged as lost/stolen. This is partly my fault for not asking the seller but most of the listings have "BAD ESN" listed if it is in fact bad. They say the last person that had the phone activated has to call in and tell them to remove the flag. Of course the guy on ebay says he got it from a friend/someone gave it to him. He has agreed to give me a refund (which hasn't shown up yet). I should get my money back either way since I payed with paypal. The question that Verizon could not answer is why can you not look up the info of who registered it last and give them a call. They didn't have to give it to me but rather call themselves. If it is marked as lost/stolen wouldn't it make sense to contact the person and verify that it is found? I don't expect them to activate it for me but they could at least report it found and get the guy selling stolen items. I could then collect my money back from ebay/paypal. Sorry for rambling but I have had a bad month with cell phones. I plan to meet a guy in person this evening to purchase a used iphone and activate it right then and there. I will also ask him to explain to verizon that I am now the legal owner of the phone.
  2. The bite gives you a fever and makes you die.
  3. Sweet! Does he have it online? I must have missed it. Edit: Found it.
  4. Thanks for sharing. I love these old war stories.
  5. Looks like a good day so far! If only I could find a Gen 2 23. I had to settle for a Gen 3.
  6. Do you have any pictures or a link to the false bottom drawer setup you are talking about? Thanks.
  7. Well it must be something to do with handguns......
  8. Nice move!
  9. How much? I may be interested. I have some savings built up from all the money I saved on insurance by switching to Obamacare.
  10. Amen to that. They don't create workers either. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2

  12. Nice!
  13. Yeah they have something that's at least an inch wide. I think I have seen almost 2" wide.
  14. Definitely. In the last five minutes I was thinking "there is no way they will build up to a cliffhanger ending in this short amount of time", but they did it!
  15. In that case I definitely suggest the "channel" type stuff I was referring too. That is what it is made for. Here is a link http://www.lowes.com/pd_73617-170-B-1_0__?productId=3129629 This is not the exact item and it comes in all different shapes and sizes but can be left white or painted to your wall color. I use it and it looks great.
  16. I am wanting to build something to store my fixed blades since I have been told not to store them in the sheath. I am not really looking for anything to display them but will accept any ideas. I was thinking along the lines of the blocks that most kitchen knife sets come with but I am not sure how to cut out the slots for the blades? Something simple will suffice so you guys let me know how you store yours. Thanks!
  17. Shhhhhh. She might here you.
  18. I'll get in on this! Much to my wife's dismay I now have the knife bug. I can only have one bug at a time though according to her so my excuse is that they are cheaper than guns (some of them.)
  19. In my experience with sound bars I have found that if you are just using it for normal TV watching they will be better that TV speakers but thats about it YMMV. Movies...not so much. Bose has a nice three or four piece system that doesn't use rear speakers that sounds really good and may work for you. You may also try removing the rear speakers in your existing setup. If you are just set on a sound bar though I would definitely go try a few out in the stores before just picking one up. I bought one at Walmart and promptly returned it the next day. If you don't want to fish your walls I have seen people remove their floor or ceiling trim, run the wire behind it, the reattach it to hide the wire. Lowe's also sells some type of plastic channel you can use to hide them and paint over it. That may get expensive for long runs though.
  20. Noticed the same. My favorite part was when Carol said "Wanna screw around?". That totally added +1 to her character. Until now she has just been a dry character (IMO) that I wanted to see gone.
