1. Also consider replacing I with 1, E with 3, O with 0 and S with 5. That will open up some of the more obvious names.
2. Well it just came up for me. Pretty funny! Needs an "internet referee" shirt to go with it; so we have someone to decide WHO is wrong.
3. Well you can just tell us what it said haha.
4. Betty Boop (kidding) I like Rusty's suggestion. Lot's of folks are using the x's on either side now with most of the normal usernames taken. You can even add extra x's on either side if need be. I am pretty proud of mine. H1GHSCOR3 if anyone wants to add me. Pretty in to Black ops 2 now.
5. What "theme" are you looking for? Gun's? Funny stuff? Etc.
6.
But despite all of those bad things, I take comfort in knowing that we have much still to be thankful for.
Amen to that brother. More blessings than I can count.
7. well I ended up settling on a pair of slip ons. They are 2405 and 100% USA made. The guy at the boot store told me the made in chinas are ruining their name.
8. I don't have this problem with my holster. It's not really any different than a strong side owb holster. The kydex makes one handed reholstering easier than leather.
9. Any of the Crossbreed type holsters work well. Solid color shirts tend to print more. When I tuck a patterned shirt in over mine it disappears. The fact that they have two anchor points really pulls the gun in close and helps in concealment. Also I carry a Glock 23. I personally have a Galco King Tuk but have used Crossbreed and Kholster. Some folks swear by the Comp-Tac Minotaurs. Depending on what gun you carry the Galco's are already made so you don't have to wait a month to get it.
10. Well I will definitely decide on my own what feels right but they should be able to help me get close.
11. That looks like it will be pretty good. IF the CGI isn't too over the top on the Zombies.
12. I freakin' LOVE puppy pictures! I have videos of our two little Dachshunds when they were puppies playing and it is a guaranteed smile every time I watch them.
13. I would just rather be able to carry my gun everywhere CC or OC. If a local business can post to not allow weapons/guns then I would think they could include batons, brass knuckles, etc. in that. Just my opinion but I would rather have less laws than more.
14. The main thing I want is to be able to go in the store and have a pair fitted to my foot exactly. My feet are really bad. I tried the Doctor Scholl's machine at walmart and it laughed at me(not really). The most important thing to me is not necessarily how long they last but how well they support my foot when wearing them every day. I am more inclined to spend the little bit extra this go round on Redwing's just to be sure.
15. All great testimonials guys! Thanks for the info. Looks like ill be getting red wings.
16. Well as long as they have good soles and support I can get used to the weight. I had to wear steel toes for a while at one job so I got used to it.
17. Wow that pretty good! Any info on what it costs to resole them?
18. Good questions. I hardly ever wear out the Uppers or outside of the boot. The Georgia boots I buy are worn everyday and usually last me a year maybe two until the sole wears out (Just guessing, I can't remember when these were bought). I have flat feet so comfort and support are very important. I'm not too rough on them other than dirt and mud.
19. My wife wants to get me a nice pair of lace up work boots for Christmas but obviously needs me to pick them out. I have never owned anything but Georgia Boot slip ons so I am hoping to get some advice on what to look at/for. The Redwing's have the reputation but also the high price. I would be looking for an 8" boot.
20.
No. Simmunitions use conversion kits that only allow the weapon to fire their projectile. http://simunition.co...conversion_kits
Yeah I was just meaning some wacko sneaking another pocket gun in or something. Based on what was advertised though they do a pretty thorough check to make sure this doesn't happen. I seriously doubt that would ever happen though. I guess it's more risky going to the range where the real ammo is already there. I'm with JAB though. I don't wanna get hurt unless I have to haha.
21. Looks out of place on that stock IMO. My gun OCD would HAVE to put it back the way it's supposed to be or sell it haha.
22.
It's not just one individual! It's 170,000 men who are banned for life, from possession, and ownership of any fire arm! Many states have laws that impose a mandatory 10 year ban! Lautenberg is for life, due to a misdemeanor conviction!
Thanks CCI for clearing that up. I just browsed the site and didn't really see anything wrong about it. I still stand by my statement regard those who pleaded guilty but I realize that some people are wrongfully convicted of domestic violence and other crimes. It didn't bother me that it was removed though so I don't guess I have a dog in this fight.
23. I didn't get a chance to check out the link before it was removed but I can't imagine anyone wanting to support this guy if he in fact plead guilty to DV. I support the decision by Dolomite on this one. It does say in the code of conduct that the staff has the final say so...... Not saying I agree with the views on the rights being stripped but I would not support anyone who plead guilty having their rights restored. Pleading innocent and being convicted is another story and I really don't know what I think about that scenario.
24. Yeah I don't know that I would participate in a "free for all" against any Joe off the street but that may not be what this is. The class I am speaking of is basically between the student and instructor. If you make the wrong move you get shot, by the instructor. My opinion is that you shouldn't need to shoot someone with this stuff to know if you could actually shoot someone. I made that decision the day I got my HCP.
25. Well this is not that out of the ordinary. The local range here in Memphis uses Simunition (spelling?) to teach some force on force classes. To my knowledge it is perfectly safe and as long as they are doing the checks they say then I don't see the problem. You do run the risk of some wacko sneaking live ammo in there but hey crazy folks are everywhere.
