  1. Idiot's advocate. Hahaha
  2. I ordered the ultra lite defense kit fr Cajun gun works. Ill post up what happens! Supposedly ill go from a 16-18 lb pull to 9lbs.
  3. My guess would be yes.   Not sure on the previous ban.
  4. I am looking to replace the hammer spring (and possibly other springs if recommended) in my CZ to lighten the double action trigger pull. I am tickled to death with everything about this gun except for the ridiculously heavy DA pull. Can anyone recommend a spring weight to change to and still have 100% or almost 100% reliability. From looking at their site Wolff goes down to a 16# spring which is three pounds lighter than the stock 19. If I understand it correctly the factory DA trigger pull is around 14 lbs. Will a new hammer spring reduce just three pounds or more from the pull? Am I totally off base here?   This will be my EDC so if I am getting ready to flubb it up and just need to leave it alone and practice with the factory setup please let me know.
  5. In the eyes of the ATF probably not unless you did it ALOT. There was a story on here recently about a guy doing that over multiple transactions and got caught. The first time they simply told him to get a license. He didn't and got busted. I doubt they would cause a stink on just one or two.
  6. Well the first thing I told my wife was carrying a gun will be more comforting than comfortable. With that said she will have to make some clothing compromises to carry unless she goes with a pocket pistol. Even then you can't have small pockets. There are belly bands but you can't really where skin tight clothes. Same goes for hip holsters. If she is not going to change dress she will just have to strap on an OWB holster and OC. Good luck man! :yuck:
  7. I for one will be adding a year to my membership. He didn't really address the WHOLE problem but I guess he addressed what most folks wanted to hear. I thought it was a good response and an immediate call to action like that just might get some gears turning and some balls rolling NOW. The question is can schools start implementing this now with the current set of laws regarding carry in schools in TN?
  8. +1
  9. Think I just found ONE on ebay. It doesn't look like the two will interchange but searching just for a CZ75 compact pulled up results. Thanks!
  10. Well I have one similar to this now that is all leather and can be used IWB or OWB. I just REALLY like the way a hybrid distributes the pressure of the gun. So is the P-01 the same size as the D PCR?
  11. I just picked up a CZ-75 D PCR and am looking to get a hybrid holster for it. I am brand new to CZ and this is the first one I have ever held. Does anyone know which different models use the same frame and thus use the same holsters? I can't find any holster specifically for the CZ75 D PCR. Thanks!
  12. Personally if you are looking at the micro .380's I like the Taurus TCP .380 better than the LCP. I own two of the Taurus .380's but while I have shot an LCP I have never owned one. I just think the Taurus fits my hand better and the fit and finish felt better. They can be had for $250 used online usually.
  13. *drool :pleased:  gotta get the spelling right if you are gonna show off haha.   Nice collection!
  14. Just got mine today! It is a S&W Extreme Ops folder. The wife said "Oh....another knife." haha thanks other Ben! I was planning on picking up another folder to put in the truck but you have solved my problem. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  15.
  16. My personal opinion is that they should not budge an inch. My gut tells me that any legislation that is passed now will just be the start of losing our gun rights completely. All of the facts about how gun control doesn't work have already been presented over the years so we really have nothing new to bring to the table. As I said in another post you can't reason with unreasonable people.   I can only hope that this will blow over and we get focused back on the debt problem. We as a society can continue to use good judgement about who we are selling our personal guns too. Past that  I don't see how it is my problem if you choose not to defend yourself with a weapon. Regarding the states that do not allow carry I think the Gov. is already doing the maximum to keep guns out of everyone hands and we are seeing the fruits of that labor.   I fear we are in for a tough battle.
  17. Based on CCI's post I think they have handled it well so far. "Meaningful contributions" is a very tasteful and appropriate answer. Granted they will probably just say the same things we have all been saying one here and it will fall on deaf ears. You can't reason with unreasonable people.
  18. With respect I think that is what the libs will be betting on. They will make it very expensive/difficult to buy ammunition or reloading supplies. They have already tried the AWB it only makes sense for them to go after ammo as well.   I myself am struggling with this question. Should I add another Glock to the stash or more ammo??? Wish it could be both.
  19. If you already have a pistol and an AR then i'd buy the ammo and maybe some mags for your existing guns. Just me though.
  20. Yeah he is wondering when I am going to throw his bone that is just out of the picture. It's funny any time I get in there and do gun stuff he doesn't leave my side. Unless our other Dachshund steals his bone.
  21. Good. I don't know how much longer I can wait. haha. We played a game of dirty santa the other night at a Sunday school party and I added one more to my collection of unused armor all car care kits.
  22. Oh I hope it's not me!
  23. I may get the nerve up to do the entire gun once this finish starts to wear. I just can't bring myself to paint a new scope right out of the box. Even if it is a Simmons.
  24. Wow just wow. Can't wait to hear the reasoning behind this.
