Thanks for all the advice guys. Following Dave's plan I have paid off all of my debt in a little under a week! :rofl:  I'm kidding of course. The wife and I are however very excited about taking on this challenge and getting to be debt free in what we hope to be a little over a year and a half.

Smith for sure. Their 3rd gen guns are GREAT guns. I hate that I ever got rid of mine. Built like tanks and would eat whatever I fed it.

I have skipped the past two in my area. I have been lucky enough to find a box or two of something I have each time I go to Walmart. I buy a box of some kind of shotgun ammo when they don't have pistol or rifle. Ammo is ammo when it comes down to it.   Just a random semi-related question. Say those paint brushes mentioned above were marked "Not for resale"; is it illegal to resale them or just frowned upon. I realize ammo isn't marked like that. I am more or less just wondering.

I didn't even know it was wire in there. I always just thought it was painted on or something. I can imagine it would be a challenge to replace.

I have ordered two guns from them. Customer service may be a little lacking but I did get the gun within the allotted time frame. I will say that they have quite a few negative reviews online where they change or delete negative reviews that customers may leave. Don't know if there is any truth to it though.

Just to give an update I got the thing running last night. Finally got the newish head, bored cylinder and new piston, and the new recoil starter installed. We also had to put new seals in the rear end. It runs good but the engine does have some "tick" at the valves. We adjusted them three times with the engine in the correct spot so I know they are set correctly. I am going to ride it for a while and recheck them. The one way bearing is also bad so no engine braking. I plan on changing it down the road if I ever need to change the clutches. All in all I got a great little ATV for a killer price!
