American Classic Commander or Remington R1? I've narrowed it down to these 2. You try to sell me on 1 of them. They're within $50 of each other so price isn't the selling point.

I've got a Nikon ready for it, but couldn't find a mount that would allow me to keep my existing iron sights useful. I decided to just buy some magpul back up iron sights so I can use any mount I want regardless of its height

Anyone have any suggestions for a scope mount that will still allow me to utilize the back up iron sights on the rifle? I'm looking at mounting a 3-9x40 rifle scope.

I am very familiar with Culleoka. Depending on where the land is located, be ready for a lot of hunting pressure and possible trespassers. I have family in Culleoka and hunt their land myself. You'd be surprised the amount of people I run off. If you have any questions about the area let me know.

I recently bought the Redfield 3-9x50 and couldn't be happier. I've compared and used it right next to the Leupold and can't tell the difference. I have not tested it in low light situations yet but I'm confident it'll be great.
