Favorite suppressor host

Did you cut and thread the barrel or buy it? Got a link if you bought it? My google foo isn't coming up with much and what about the upper? Will all or at least most 3.5in and below 22 barrels keep 22lr high velocity sub sonic? -

If someone doesn't reload but still wants to shoot a rifle caliber better of to get a 300 blackout or use subsonic cartridges for calibers they already have like 556 or 308? Would you buy another pacLite or get a steel 22/45? How hard is it to build a 3.5 22 AR that functions properly? Thanks for the link to the 1/2x28 to 5/8x24 adapter as well in one of the other threads. Also just a general question, will 22LR CCI standard velocity stay subsonic out of longer barrels like in a 10/22? Edited to ask one more question. Will 22 through a 30 caliber suppressor make it excessively dirty? -
In my opinion the lucas most likely made your oil thicker (higher viscosity) and with the cold which also make the oil thicker is making it have lower pressure until the engine and oil warms up. Most likely if the stepper motor in the instrument panel were going out it would (sometimes) not reset all the way to the zeroed position and would work its way higher and higher . (Every time it goes up it thinks that is the 0 and restarts from there until it tacks out the gauge) Sometime acting normal and others not but very noticeable none the less.

Thanks for the great replies!! How does 45acp compare in the fun scale? Anyone suppress their Glocks (19 or 21) how do they do? Will Federal 9mm FMJ have a sonic crack ( box says 1125 fps)? -
While you've got it off might as well just carry the old pads with you to the parts store and get them to turn your rotors when they match up your old pads. Make sure you get the $1 packet of anti seize.

This is the first pre 39 I have seen sale since I found mine. There just isn't allot of info out there on them? Still on the lookout for a period box and extras if anyone runs across them. Still procrastinating on getting it lettered to. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=456460809

Beautiful, I've seen more great revolvers go through the classifieds in the last few weeks than in the last few years. Congrats on some wonderful purchases.

I guess I'll go with the don't care crowd. I have never given any thought to weather a handgun has it or not. I have never had anything or needed anything to mount on the rail, so either way is fine with me.

As far as equipment goes I keep a extra of everything. (It is always about to break down). Even when its new and under warranty the dealer will keep it for at least 2 weeks try explaining that to 80 customers that want to know where you are. The only thing I don't have 2 of is me. I can't make enough money no matter how hard I work or how much I make. It is never enough. I am always just about to go under and just about to make it to the top. I wouldn't have it any other way. I could go on and on but I have to get back to work. time is $

Just great thanks so much for showing me another pistol I'm going to have to start saving for. Thanks

Your own tools can be used against you to break into your safe. If its in the garage where most people keep their tools (Grinder, sawzall, torch, pry bars, etc). Most thieves don't bring extra tools to get into a safe but if you leave it laying there for them, well?

I ordered from Radical on 11/30 because Primary was out of stock on the one I wanted. It shipped today. 12/9 so the wait seems to be much lower at the moment than the 8 week build time. 9 or 10 days. Not to bad. Thank goodness. Now it may seem like 8 weeks for it to get to my FFL. Hoping for a couple days though.

Fill the coolant to the proper level before you drive it anywhere or you will have a blown head gasket or worse. (make sure the engine is cold when taking the radiator cap off) Water pumps often go out around that mileage or sooner. If you can not get the maintenance records as other have said its a good idea to change the water pump, timing belt, and if recommended the tensioner and idler pulleys as well.

I am thinking about getting this at the same time. Not sure I am ready for something like you'll have. https://www.classicfirearms.com/ak-pistol-stabilizing-brace Thoughts?

Not a big fan of anythings liver. We had it at least every 2 weeks when I was growing up. I had to eat some before I could leave the table. Even mixing it with other things you just can't mask the taste.

I am a total newb in the AR pistol field so I need some more help. Is this not a great deal on a AR pistol? http://www.radicalfirearms.com/product-p/rf7.5pistol556.htm

44 Magnum commerically available ammo?
swim615 replied to swim615's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
I stopped at Academy Sports in Rivergate this morning and they did not carry 44mag. I did find 2 boxes at my local Walmart though. About $44 per 50 round box. 1 box of Federal hollow points 240grain and one box of Winchester 240grain soft points. I'm going to look around on the web trying to find some heavier loads to try. The Hornady XPT do look very good. I have been planning on getting into reloading for a couple years now and just haven't. My wife did buy me a Lee 50th anniversary reloader starter kit for my bday this year so who knows this may be the year that I finally get started. Wonder why the 44special is so expensive? I though I could use it to save some money practicing but wow its as much as 44mag. -
I did order some of this http://www.rareammo.com/Armscor-10mm-180gr-FMJ-50-Rnds_p_2981.html for practice. Anyone have experience with Armscor? It was the cheapest that I could find in stock on the web. Still checking out everyone recommendations on the full power loads for hunting. I checked Academy Sports in Rivergate but they don't carry 10mm. No luck at my local Walmart either. Wish I would have went ahead and ordered this http://www.rareammo.com/Ted-Nugent-American-Defender-10mm-Auto-180gr-UHP-20-Rnds_p_2637.html while I was at it. With uncle Teds mark on it its got to put meat on the table.

I am also looking for some help in 10mm ammo area as well. Good ammo for plinking at a reasonable price and some full power loads for hunting. Mostly hunting deer but maybe a hog someday. Thanks

I am looking to get some 44 magnum and 44 special ammo and need some help with what everyone thinks is the best. Some cheaper stuff for plinking and some full power loads for hunting (most likely only deer but maybe a hog someday). Also is 44 special good or better for practice? Any good for hunting? As always price is a concern for the practice rounds but willing to pay a little more for hunting ammo. Thanks

You'll blow your house up with gas!!! I've seen it way to many times on the news. We use a wood stove to off set the bill in the winter and it keep me healthy cutting, splitting, and bringing it in.
