Sadly so is mine and time seems to have stopped. Its just like being a kid again waiting for Christmas.
  3. I miss every G30 I ever had and that's more fingers and maybe toes than I have. :shake:

I have the Navy but no suppressor. If you want to hook yours up and give it a whirl let me know.
  5. I posted a few up with as much info as I THINK to be true as possible with tons of pics to help.
  6. We live along way from town and being prepared has always just been normal. Been here a good 43 years. We often loose power with weather events of all kinds and often the roads can be impassable as well ( ice storm a good 2 weeks stuck and tornado a good 10 days without powers and roads blocked for about a day are the worse I can remember) As I have gotten older I have added easier less intense ways to be prepared.   Water we have a spring, pool for about 20000 gallons and if needed 2 ponds worth.   Heat is a wood stove, fireplace, kerosene heater, at least 6 25 gallon propane tanks and a heater attachment for them, and always a couple rick of firewood in the dry plus a couple acres of trees if needed. Three gas grills as well for cooking or the wood stove. Hot dogs and smores in the fireplace.   We have 2 campers if something happens to the house or a barn if needed or a tent.   We always have at least enough food to last about 2 months and a garden in the summer. Hunting in the winter and chickens for meat and eggs.   We have 2 generators enough to run everything except the 220s. Still need to get some hookups for that. Always enough gas to run them for a good 2 weeks. (I'm a lawn service and man do I need the gas)   I'm sure there's much more but when its normal you just don't think of it as being prepared.
  7. I have a few older revolvers that I am thinking about trading/selling in the classifieds. I am no expert on older firearms. I have compared several examples of similar age and think there may be some later modifications to some of them. Barrels exchanged, parts re blued, grips changed, etc. I have also read on the internet about them for what its worth.   I want to give real and as accurate information about them as possible.   Should I include information that I think is true, list it for prospective buyers to research it, just include a basic description with good pics, or ?
  8. Very nice. Love me some Marlin levers.
  9. Sweet setup. Man that looks nice. Which mount did you get and how do you like it? Can't wait for a range report on the Saker.
  10. Why do you have a pic of a tree and the ground ? I don't get it.   Seems you have black rifle disease I hate to see anyone catch it. It leaves you with a very empty wallet and extra AR parts everywhere.   Congrats on a great collection.   By the way you are running a little behind on the 1 per month club as well. You better finish that pistol asap.
  11. Are your wait times if bought in stock at a local gun shop with no transfer from another retailer or manufacture included?
  12. Would this weight/speed 10mm be better for hunting as well or would a higher weight(220 grain) lower speed(1200fps) round be better? I understand I can't use a FMJ round for hunting.
  13. I would like to hear some more of everyone's favorites if you are willing to share?   Thanks again to everyone who has contributed so far. :usa:
  14. Chip for the win. Great to work with and quite painless. Always like to support those that support TGO.
  15.   Would this not make the buffer tube a stock in the same way as shouldering the sig brace? Then they would have to make all buffer tubes illegal.
  16. Don't some of the QDs get really expensive? Take the silencerco trivecta madd mount which is $275 with 1 flash suppressor/QD mount then you have to buy additional $75 flash suppressors/mounts for every other rifle you want to use the QD on. Seems much cheaper to buy the trifecta with the madd direct thread adapter that is only $125 and you don't have to buy a flash hinder/mount for ever rifle you have and then just screw it onto each rifle you use.
  17. Do suppressors come loose or not fit tight? How much faster is the quick disconnect than just thread it on the barrel? What are the possibilities of a baffle strike? The quick disconntect seem very pricey and just trying to understand why they are worth the price?
  18. The only thing a sports car is good for is to sell and use the money to buy a truck with.                                                                     Or getting killed because I still have that wild hair.
  19. The problem with small or mini animals, lots of things will try to or will kill them. Especially neighbors dogs.
  20. I ordered from them in early December no problems at all and got my pistol in 10 days not the 2 to 4 weeks I was expecting. A good experience for me and a good product at a great price. I keep checking back hoping they have another sale.
  21. With 1.5 acres you (most likely)  only need 1 or 2 donkeys or maybe 2 to 4 goats or sheep. They will have it grazed to dirt or mud in the winter especially and you will need to feed them.   Edited to add that goats will walk through the barbed wire fence and if the woven wire is the big cattle squares they always seem to be getting their heads stuck. (Maybe electric fence will help stop that some). Sheep should stay in a little better and donkeys even better still.
  22. I'm on the lookout for things with threaded barrels as well as shooter grade revolvers. Hint Hint.
  23. In my googleing I normally see the speed of sound at 1116fps. Are you sure its 1050fps? When looking at ammo I see some that are around 1100 and wondered if they would stay subsonic? When you rented the G19 why didn't you like it? Were you indoors or outside shooting? Was it louder than you thought it would be, or the G19 didn't function properly, or not impressed with the GemTec, or other? Have you ever heard other suppressed firearms to compare the sound to?
  24. On your list of pistols you suppress the most you have a m&p 22c do you like it because you like the s&w m&p platform or because it keeps 22lr high velocity subsonic, or other reasons? (Most of the others seem to be custom threaded) Who do you use for this and what is the average cost?   I got to fire a 223 with a suppressor and no earplugs thanks to one of our great members. Seemed close to a regular 22lr rifle with hv ammo.   Ever used 147 grain 9mm? Does it stay subsonic?   Really would have liked to pick up that Browning A-Bolt you had listed but have to many irons in the fire at the moment and with all the great revolvers popping up lately I'm holding out for (the right one).
