  1. Most mills won't buy them if they are from a yard or house area. They are worried about metal tearing up the saw blade.   At least that's what my local mill told me.
  2. Why are pickup trucks so expensive?     Well, I got my first truck when I was three Drove a hundred thousand miles on my knees Hauled marbles and rocks and thought twice before  I hauled a Barbie Doll bed for the girl next door  She tried to pay me with a kiss and I began to understand There's something women like about a pickup man When I turned sixteen, I saved a few hundred bucks My first car was a pickup truck I was cruising the town and the first girl I seen Was Bobbie Jo Gentry, the homecoming queen She flagged me down and climbed up in the cab And said, "I never knew you were a pickup man" You can set my truck on fire and roll it down a hill And I still wouldn't trade it for a Coupe De Ville I got an eight-foot bed that never has to be made You know, if it weren't for trucks we wouldn't have tailgates I met all my wives in traffic jams There's just something women like about a pickup man Most Friday nights I can be found In the bed of my truck on an old chaise lounge Backed into my spot at the drive-in show You know a cargo light gives off a romantic glow I never have to wait in line at the popcorn stand 'Cause there's something women like about a pickup man You can set my truck on fire and roll it down a hill And I still wouldn't trade it for a Coupe De Ville I got an eight-foot bed that never has to be made You know, if it weren't for trucks we wouldn't have tailgates I met all my wives in traffic jams There's just something women like about a pickup man A bucket of rust or a brand new machine Once around the block and you'll know what I mean You can set my truck on fire and roll it down a hill And I still wouldn't trade it for a Coupe De Ville I got an eight-foot bed that never has to be made You know, if it weren't for trucks we wouldn't have tailgates I met all my wives in traffic jams There's just something women like about a pickup man Yeah, there's something women like about a pickup man
  3. A little more than your budget but man that Scar 17 in the classifieds is calling my name. They have trades listed that could offset the $ difference.   Maybe we could go in half&half. I shot it Sunday,Tuesday, and Thursdays and you keep it warm on Saturday, Monday, and Wednesdays. Well let or transporter have Fridays to cover his services.
  4. I would go with a G19 but you should check out as many generations as you can find. I find the texture of the gen4's a little to aggressive for IWB carry. It rubs me the wrong way. YMMV
  5. I had to work but bought some gas on the way home. Had to pay regular price though.
  6. I like the Kahr PM9. Also have a NAA Guardian 380 that's way smaller for ITP carry.
  7. I'm not sure what the shot shells are for either.   The plastic covers broke on mine and when I pointed it down I could hear all the shot rolling out of the barrel. I still have most of a box.   Good score by the way.
  8. I got my google foo to going and I think this pic is a better angle with better lighting of the area you would want to see. The Lone Wolf barrel is on the right this time and the Glock barrel is on the left. The Lone wolf barrel definitely has more chamber support.
  9. The Lone Wolf is on the left and the factory Glock is on the right.
  10. Looking at mine I can't tell any difference but I'll get you some pics tomorrow night.
  11. I'm not a expert on 308 semi autos but if you have a place to shot don't mind you putting a couple rounds through mine and see how you like it before you buy one. Its all factory with no upgrades. I have a couple different optics (3X) but nothing with high enough magnification to see how well it will do at long distances though. A good optic is still on my wish list.
  12. I see them out most just after dark. They can really dig up the lawn even worse than moles. I've shot 5 or 6 this year in my yard. The only time I saw any in the daytime was last winter when it was so cold. The 2 I shot during the day then were very skinny. Their (shells/ leathery skin) were actually caved in some. I guess it was to cold at night for them to feed.
  13. Its your site and your decision.   For my business (I"m the lawn care and in order of important bills to pay I'm low man on the totem pole) I get the shaft from people a couple time a year. Its just part of business.. IF its only a couple hundred or less its not worth the trouble. If its $500 or more I threaten to turn it over to collections and I have always been paid after that, when I explain the a collection stays on your credit report for 7 years. YMMV
  14. I bought when I should have sold. Its a emotional/greed thing and instead of making $4000 on several 100,000 shares of a stock I know own about 6 shares of a .0001 stock after all the reverse splits. Its just not something I can do.     I also had allot of shares of ford when it was well under $1 and sold them to buy the above shares.  :surrender:
  15. I have a m&p 9c and a apex duty kit makes a huge difference in the trigger. Cough cough much more glock like if I do say so myself. I'm not a fan of safeties either.
  16. Here's a link to mine with some pics and info.   http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/75810-picked-up-my-first-cr/
  17. Thanks for the link my 10 bricks are scheduled to arrive tomorrow.
  18. Thought I'd let everyone know what was giving me troubles just encase you ever have the same problem. I replaced the aftermarket 1/2x28 to .578 adapter with a Silencerco adapter and I am not getting the copper fragments from any ammo that I put through it.   Thanks for the help.
  19. Thought I would bump this up again. Hoping someone else knows what is going on. I shot it with a G21 and nothing rattling but tried another 9mm a G19 and it had the same small pieces of metal as before.   I really like shooting 9mm but sure don't want to damage the suppressor.    Anyone else shot 9mm through a 45 Osprey without problems and what setup and ammo do you use?
  20. As far as I can tell everything looks normal inside. I am not sure what baffle strike might look like though?   It doesn't look like any of the picture that come up with a google search of strikes. As far as I can see it looks normal inside and out
  21. Ammo was a mix of American Eagle 147 grain fmj 9mm and Federal 115 grain fmj 9mm. I was comparing the sound of the 2 since the 147 American Eagle stays subsonic. Can was a Silencerco 45 Osprey I was shooting 9mm through the 45 caliber suppressor using a 1/2x28 to .578 adapter Pistol was a Walther PPQ M2 9mm with a factory threaded barrel
  22. I was shooting a suppressor the other day and after I finished and took it off the pistol I noticed it was making a rattling noise. So after shaking it out. It had small pieces of what I think was the copper jacket from the ammo I was shooting. Is there something wrong or is it normal?
  23. Gun ADD?
  24. Unless it is NIB I would shoot and enjoy it. Even though the polishing looks better to a collector it is worth less. Plus its SS you could drag it behind your truck for a couple miles and polish it right up to like new. I love SS.   Beautiful revolver by the way.
