  1. G19 Gen 4, no issues at all 600 rounds down range. G26 Gen 3, same no issues. I think its just bout preference now, seems they worked out all the bugs.
  2. I had an XDsc 40. Phenomenal little gun I loved it. On a whim I traded it for G26 (which I don't regret at all) but I so miss the XDsc. It can be a bit snappy with hotter loads but the grip length was enough for me control it and I have medium hand size.

    Sr9c or Kahr cm9

All of the above are great responses and surprisingly similar to my carry choices. I bought a CM9 when it first came out, just ahead of the shield and I love it! Everyday it rises in my front jacket pocket in a Desantis Nemesis holster. In the summer I carried it IWB in a Comptac Minotaur or a Remora holster. I love my G26 and G19 but they usually stay at home now. I don't know your size or style of clothes but just as a guess I don't think the Kahr works as a true pocket pistol for a good percentage of people. It's noticeably heavier and bigger in every dimension than a little .380. But if you want an affordable, reliable tiny 9 that deep conceals easily you can't go wrong with a CM9.
  4. I've owned a 642 and now own an LCR .357. The Ruger is more fun to shoot but I was able to conceal the 642 a bit easier. You honestly can't go wrong with either one.
  5. I actually saw one today in Chattanooga at Sportsman's Supply for $450. Great looking gun and good sights on it. The grip felt a bit wide front to back for me, like the DB9, and its about as long as Glock 26. I was surprised to see it on a shelf so quickly, I just got the S&W email two days ago announcing it. If I had not purchased a CM9 last Friday I would have picked up the little Shield.
  6. It is a unique design and reduces the bulk of an iwb holster. However I would be cautious about it. Can you post a report after you have carried it for a period of time?
  7. This is awesome!! The link page7b has a TON of information, not only handgun manuals buts cameras, flashlights etc. Great thread guys, very useful!!
  8. A GUN SHOW is the best place. I traded a nice, clean S&W 642 plus a small amount of cash for a beautiful Ruger GP100 stainless .357 about 2 months ago. The show that was at Chilhowee Park in Knoxville. The whole deal, including time to get in the door and find a buyer took about 15 minutes.
  9. I shot my first Glock 26 today, a Gen 3 I rented at the range in Maryville. It is really a great gun. I carry an XDSC 40 and would not trade that gun for the world but the Glock was great to shoot as well. I may need to add this to my collection soon. Besides, I don't have a 9mm yet so why not right?

    Kahr Pm9

Thanks everyone for your input I appreciate your help.

    Kahr Pm9

I am interested in buying a PM9 or even possibly the new CM9 but I had one question. I know that the Kahrs have a 200 round break in period. Is it a good idea to take the gun to the range and put 300-400 down through it at one time? Just making sure I don't heat it up too much. It may be a stupid question I know.

    If you had...

I'm just starting to look into 1911's but in my limited experience I would say the Springfield Loaded Champion Stainless model.

    IS $599 TO HIGH

Definitely high, got mine for much less. Should be around $500 or so.
  14. I read the rules on the "what it is worth" so I deleted that part of the post just to be on the safe side. I didn't want to ruffle any feathers. I just thought it was a cool little pistol.
  15. A friend of mine brought this little pistol into the office yesterday. Its a .22 Short Beretta Minx rimfire. She said it use to belong to her Dad, he still has the original box. Apparently it hasn't been fired in at least 12 years. There was still 7 old rounds in the magazine. I'm assuming it dates from the 60's? I brought it home, cleaned it and oiled it up for her. Just thought it was cool. Click on the link for the slideshow to see the other six pictures...
