  1. welcome to the sig world .... 1 isn't enough ... there will be many more coming in your near future!
  2. So, As I was sitting and watching TV last night and polishing the feed ramps on my P238's i thought to myself .... why not polish the barrel .... Some 2000 grit sand paper, polish and a rag, I would imagine would really make it stand out. What's the general consensus? Good thing, or bad? Don't think I have seen many with polished barrels. By the way = Polished Feed Ramps feel like butter and look even better Yay or Nay? and if you have done it, and have pics, even better! Thanks!
  3. EXCELLENT idea Mac!

  13. haha, nice vid. we have a 150 lb. St Bernard, and a 20 lb French Bulldog. Our Frenchie owns our saint ... Here's a pic of the size difference! They are best buds -- both males as well
  14. awesome site .... used it quite a bit in my pocket pistol search use it almost daily now comparing firearms!
  15. My fiance's and mine premium's already went up by about 12%
  16. Yes, and No Right Handed, shots did not tail to the left. LOL
  17. Now that's something I hadn't thought of ... I know the grip on the glock was different ... The p238 being a mini 1911 with roughly the same angle, would make sense as to why i haven't had issues with both of them! Thanks Loon! I think I'm going to rent another Glock and push 100-150 rounds through it and see if I can correct my mistakes! Didn't have much time today at the class since people were lined up after us! Appreciate it guys!
  18. would the heaviness of the firearm attribute to this? the 1911 was 2-3x's heavier and had no issues. I would also think my actual shots would suffer, which they didn't ??? hmmmm
  19. Hey Guys! The fiance and I just took our HCP course today, and I wanted to find out what you guys might think about this. We currently own (2) P238's. I've shot those as well as a full size 1911 .45 just fine. My grip has never caused any issues. Today, wanted to try out a 9mm ... So I was given a Glock 17. First time with a Glock, First time with a 9mm. Every other round would fail to go in to battery. The instructor fired 3 consecutively without issue. Once I was back on it, for the next 30 or so rounds, the same thing happened. Not until I fired a bit more rapidly, did it stop. Once I slowed down, it started to happen again. My shooting was pretty good ... grouping's were decent. Anyways ... Talking to the instructor, he thought it was my grip. Gave me some good pointers, gave them a shot, and it still didn't help. The only thing that helped was the rapid fire. Knowing the rapport that Glock has for great guns, its got to be me. I just fail to understand why I wouldn't have issues with smaller micro pistols or full size 1911's ... Just this one glock. Any pointers, or others have a similar issue where their grip and a certain gun just didn't work out? Appreciate it !!!
  20. +1 ... Greenbrier is about 25 minutes from us ... The Hendersonville Location (scheduled to open mid October last I heard) will be about 5 minutes away! Can't wait! Me and the Fiance just got our Memberships and its good for both places! Woot!
  21. I think it was called "Drange" or something to that extent and its right off of Exit 8 (Saundersville) off of 386
  22. Guns N Leather had one in stock yesterday ..... Was contemplating it hard ... Think it was priced at $595 .... Went with a bitone, blackwood grips, nightsights, instead ..... Didn't realize it was 14k gold. SWEEEEET looking gun .... If it was in Stainless, I would have been ALL over it! Enjoy!
  23. Surprisingly ... Guns' N Leather has the cheapest .380 ammo around (Fed/PMC Bronze/etc...) @ $15/box haha I'm still new to guns (moving from LA not to long ago) so still in the stocking up/range every other day mode! work with me here! haha
  24. In This Order: 1. Cost of Ammo 2. Selection of Guns 3. Cost of Said Pieces 4. Customer Service
  25. .380 because that is all I have to date I'm a small guy 6' 155lbs., so it fits just right in an IWB holster I may move up to a 9mm one day!
