haha, i was thinking that EXACT same thing. When she turns, it looks more of some sort of leather pouch. HCP holder in the making

Hey Guys ... The wifey and I have a friend who's daughter is at St Jude's and we visit once every few months when we go down to memphis. One of the most amazing places I have ever visited. If you go eat at Chilies Today -- ANY Chilies -- 100% of the Proceeds go to St Jude's Medical Center. So, if you have yet to eat lunch, or plan to go out for dinner tonight, think about hitting up a Chilies. The wifey and I just went for lunch there!

Nice! I was at the Guns N Leather on Saturday and saw all you guys down stairs waiting your turn for the range I agree ... Great course, great instructors! Hope the next couple of weeks is quick for you! Good Luck!
-
thanks mousegunner! Saw that article/site a couple weeks ago

You bring up some great point FordGuy ... Thanks. I am leaning towards pocket carry 90% of the time, and if I travel to "unfamiliar" parts of TN or parts I know I may need something bigger (ie: Parts of Memphis) then I will make sure to keep the Kimber by my side.

Here's a Link: Springfield 9mm 3" SUBCMPT ESSENTIAL $445.00 SHIPS FREE I misspoke ... Its actually $455/shipped. Then you have some $$$ left over for a good holster
-
I would go with .... Springfield XD 9 Compact/Subcompact. Many can be had NIB for under $500 ... I think Bud's even has the XD9SC with 13 and 16 round mags (the essential package - none of the XD junk) for $450ish shipped to your FFL. No Tax
-
That's what I am concerned about .... the adjusting/muss/fuss good to hear! I may be ... However, made my own holster yesterday (jerry rigged, but it worked for my experiment) and started playing with it last night. Adjusting every which way .... Different positions, different cants, different depths. Some worked pretty well, but none were incredibly comfortable. P238 in the High Noons IWB holster in my front pocket (even with the full metal clip) -- No printing, not uncomfortable at all.

Bass Pro Re-Opening Tomorrow Morning in Nashville

happy to see they are back on their feet. So many businesses in the Opry Mills Mall had to fully shut down, not to reopen. I especially feel bad for the Sting Ray Exhibit - All the Sting Ray's died .... -
Hey Guys ... Anyone here Pocket Carry ONLY? I ask, because I'm not sure I want to go the IWB route (see: small butt thread). I plan to get a PM9/MK9 with a Pocket Holster + Mag Pouch, and shouldn't have an issue. I was going to stick with the P238, but if I will be pocket carrying only, I want something with a bit more *oomph*. My kimber will be a home/bedside and range queen And at the off chance my butt grows over night someday, may consider an IWB holster for it, with a pocket gun being a BUG only. So, anyone only carry in their pocket?

If mine got smaller, I'd go nuts Hoping to gain another 20-30 lbs in the next 4-5 years. I think 180 would be perfect. So, 32" it is! 2nd email sent
-
Good idea ... I think the Wilderness I just ordered doesn't not have holes? Velcro/slide thru type
-
These ones aren't odd, they are all even? Wilderness Tactical 5-Stitch Instructor Belt Nylon - MidwayUSA So, perhaps a 32" would work best for me since we have the same size waist
-
dangit .... email in to midway .... Ordered a 30" ... but, according to the measuring (just measured my belt) .... I should get a 36" What size did you get Erik? EDIT: Maybe I should go with a 34" .... hmmm
-
Wilderness Belt Ordered FYI = 29" waist here ..... hollla!
-
THAT would be a negative I really do wish I had an butt .... What I lack, my wifey makes up for, so its all good
-
and for the record, I am NOT sagging. MY ENTIRE BUTT IS COVERED! I have NO BUTT -- Meaning -- MY BACK RUNS IN TO MY BUTT AND YOU CAN'T TELL. Example: You can stick a ruler from my back to my butt, and it would lay flat!!! A belt will certainly help with the "weight" pulling my pants down even further. Thanks for the link Erik! And thanks for understanding EXACTLY what I am going through Kelemvor Much appreciated!

Thank you to the few of you with constructive advice. I'll definitely look in to industry standard gun belts and different IWB holsters like Kohler and Crossbreeds ....
-
Its no lie ... I'm 6' and weigh 155-160lbs. I have no rear end, which makes "not printing" extremely difficult. I have a P238 which I can realistically IWB Carry and not print about 90% of the time. However, I would REALLY like to move up to the new to me Kimber Ultra Carry I just got. For those that are skinny and/or have no gluteus maximus, how do you cope I would really love to move up to a subcompact (like the Kimber UC) instead of the Micro I have now. Any tips/pointers/etc....? Pics: P238 (Concealed) P238 (Not Concealed) Kimber Ultra Carry (Concealed) Kimber Ultra Carry (Not Concealed)

Any right handed shooters aim with their left eye?
xRUSTYx replied to Will Carry's topic in Handguns
those that shoot with "both eyes" .... For us guys that shoot with a single (left or right) is this something hard to learn? -
just got off the phone with the home warranty place (AHS) -- Open 24/7 = sweet. Spoke with a pretty knowledgeable and nice AMERICAN call center rep. I have the plumbers calling to schedule tomorrow!!!! The Good News: Everything in the house plumbing wise is covered. (Within the tract of the house) The Bad News: The Irragation system is not covered. So, if the irrigation system is where the leak is taking place - I'm installing a shut-off valve and will just keep it off for eternity. I'm 1 of 2 people in our sub-development of 75+ homes with an irrigation system .... Don't need fricking sprinklers in TN !!! This ain't arizona or cali! If anyone else has any thoughts I would love to hear them. I would also like to here from those people that do have sprinklers. If you run them a couple times a week, what is your normal water bill like?
