  2. i ended up going with a DW Bullard Pocket holster -- Came with a mag holder too I'm still waiting for it (8-10 week lead time) -- so in the mean time, I am using just a cheapo uncle mike's, but it's doing the job quite well! here's the bullard one: Sig P238 Saddle Brown Pocket and Mag Holder - D.M. 11. Hey Guys ... Needing to know if anyone here is an electrical engineer? Wanted to find out if I could rack your brain for a few minutes on the phone? The questions involve arcing/oxidation/plating etc... for small electrical components! Thanks!
  12. its actually REALLY informative. Yes, some stuff is repetitive and boring, but I guarantee, you'll learn atleast 1 thing the last 4 hours is at the range anyways it goes by pretty quickly, and before you know it, you're headed home with cert in hand. man up and take it
  13. actually, that's a really good question. The first day we brought Jordy home (the frenchie) and he was all of 4-5 lbs, Camelot did NOT like him. I was holding Jordy and Camelot kept trying to nip at him. Over the next week or two, we just kept a very close eye on the both of them, and after that they were fine. Jordy has no fear and thinks he is a st bernard. When they play, Camelot is on his back barking like a little Chihuahua and jordy is wrestling him on top. They are inseparable now ... They pee together, they eat together, they cuddle together. Its like a man and his dog ... Except the man is just a very big dog Jordy is the only dog Camelot completely tolerates. Even when Camelot gets pissed off at him and snaps at him, Jordy snaps right back. If no one knew, you would think Jordy ruled the house. Camelot only lets him "portray" that he is king
  14. its no lie .... we love our furbabies. We have 6 in total First Up, Camelot and Jordy (best friends) Camelot: 5 year old St Bernard. He's about 150 lbs. We adopted him last year. VERY people oriented, as long as its not a stranger in his house. VERY dominant - Any dog minus his sister that is about half his size or bigger will likely get pretty beat up. He doesn't warn when he is about to attack, he just goes at their neck. Jordy: 10 month old French Bulldog (frenchie) We got him from a Kentucky breeder when he was 10 weeks old. Loves everything and everybody. Love's to chew wood (our window sills have paid the price dearly for this) so we are hoping he grows out of it soon. He is best friends with his big brother Camelot. Where you see one, you will likely see the other. Kaylee: Our baby Girl .... We got her when she was 8 weeks old. She is now just over 2. She sleeps 23.5 hours out of a 24 hour day. She only likes to go outside to poop/pee/drink water. Otherwise, you find her inside "HER" master bedroom sleeping. She's a bit shy/timid, but a complete love bug Lastly, our Cats: Lacey & Fancy: Adopted them at 8 weeks old. They are sisters. Used to be feral and don't like ANYONE except my fiance and I. They are both extremely small (Fancy - the dark haired one) weighs in at only 4 lbs And Mr. Lazarus: We adopted Lazarus about 2 months ago. He's about 2 years old. Was hit by a car and taken to a vet who fixed him up and fostered him until he found a forever home. He is a COMPLETE love bug. Loves everyone ... Lazarus is "not all there" He stumbles and wobbles when he walks, not because of broken bones, but because he was hit in the head by the car. His equilibrium is shot ... and his eyes can't focus. But, we love him, and he gets to spend the rest of his years enjoying house life.
  15. ignorant & lazy -- that's the state of america ...
  16. I disagree with Obama being weak .... He's done pretty much exactly what he said he would (mind you, I am NOT an Obama Supporter) Obama care being one of the large issues ... Most of Obama's "Change" came with HUGE federal spending ... How else would he get anything on his agenda? By adding to the National Debt. People love "free" things like healthcare, but at the end of the day, someone has to pay for it ... Those paying for it are our Children and Grandchildren. What I think most people miss, is that the President really doesn't have as much say so as we think he does .... Congress & the house control most of what's going on. I blame them more than the actual acting president. and with that, I blame the Democratic Held Congress for the past 3-4 years of the economic downturn. No doubt, large corporations and banks got greedy, but to sit there and continue to increase federal spending and debt it just absurd in this economic climate .... Obama needs to convince congress to extend tax cuts to everyone, decrease federal spending, and sit on his hands for the next 2 years while we try to decrease our national debt. Will that happen = negative .... ehhh .... I now understand why young people (or those in my generation) just don't give a rats tail anymore .... I'm a conservative by nature ... I'm a small business owner ... and I don't feel like paying someone's Section 8 payment on the house rented next door to me -- Especially seeing them sit home and watch TV all day while I work my butt off .... I'm afraid my whole generation will be "We Need The Government To Run Our Lives For Us" they won't have a single freedom left. Healthcare and Housing is paid for .... might as well be lazy and do nothing with my life. ::rant over:: Just felt like letting go right now ... thanks for listening
  17. I too would have loved to see Ron Paul in the White House ....sigh.... Can't wait to see what happens come election day in 30-35 days from now

  21. The firearm you carry every day .... Once Broken In (Assuming you have fired it enough to carry it comfortably) How often do you take it to the range? Couple Questions Here: 1. How Often do you take it to the range to fire? When you do give it some range time, how many rounds? 2. Assuming loaded mags, how often do you find you need to change the mag spring? I'm thinking putting 50 or so rounds through my EDC once a month, clean & lube, and that should do it.
  22. happy to see so many pocket carriers
