  1. The Kimber I once had easiest shooting .45 I have ever had the pleasure to shoot. miss her ... anyways ... for the time being. Browning Buckmark .22
  2. love my PM9 ... and if I was looking for something even smaller, the P380 would be it. I'm just not a fan of the .380 round or the price of a .380 round. If .380 ammo was as cheap and readily available as 9mm, I would have stayed with it. Instead, I moved everything over to 9mm. If I were in your shoes, I'd get her a PM9. Interchangeable mags, same round, and you already know the ins & outs of yours.
  3. Thanks Gunrunner! You got a PM GunTroll. It was matte, but because it was carried daily, there were some "shiny" spots. Went ahead and started the polishing job, just not a pro so it came out a bit weird. haha .... would love to have it professionally finished.
  4. Hey Guys ... Looking for someone who can refinish my MK9. Don't really feel like sending it off to some of these "custom" shops and would prefer to support someone locally. Either want to go entirely polished, or blasted then e-nickel plated.
  5. buds has the XD9SC Essential Package for $445 shipped. Get it transferred at D&T Arms ($10 transfer + $10 TICS) and you are looking at $465 TOTAL for a brand new XD9SC ... Essential Package has no xd gear ... but then again, not sure anyone actually uses the XD gear. Gun + Box + Mags is all ya need. Springfield 9mm 3" SUBCMPT ESSENTIAL $445.00 SHIPS FREE
  6. I have my own business and carry every single day .... I encourage my employees to carry when they get their HCP's. I even encouraged one to go to the class with me o ... and as far as the bank situation .... I carry in my local BofA branches, and neither one is posted! Which is different from what I have heard of quite a few BofA branches, so I am really happy about that
  7. that is an EXCELLENT idea! thanks NashvilleStage for the great idea!
  8. HCP # and DL # are one in the same ... even if you don't notify the officer, assuming he pulls your info on his computer, it will likely tell him then whether or not you hold a permit i would think??? does that make sense?

  14. +1 ... was thinking about making the drive down there today, then figured I would wait to see what people thought of it.
  15. Sorry .... no .... The audience didn't seem as enthused as you are ... been around quite a bit of standup in my days.
  16. just not funny .... not even the audience seemed to laugh
  17. someday ... i will have an evil black rifle ... first things first though = larger safe
  18. picture fail = don't see the firearm ... o wait, that's the point of this haha, I kid, I kid ... very nice

  20. For his 75th birthday, a man got a gift certificate from his wife. The certificate paid for a visit to a medicine man living on a nearby reservation who was rumored to have a wonderful cure for erectile dysfunction. After being persuaded, he drove to the reservation, handed his gift certificate to the medicine man and wondered what he was in for. The old medicine man slowly, methodically produced a potion, handed it to him, and with a grip on his shoulder, warned, "This is powerful medicine and it must be respected. You take only a teaspoonful and then say '1-2-3'. When you do that, you will become more manly than you have ever been in your life and you can perform as long as you want." The man was encouraged. As he walked away, he turned and asked, "How do I stop the medicine from working?" "Your partner must say '1-2-3-4'," he responded. "But when she does, the medicine will not work again until the next full moon." The old gent was very eager to see if it worked so he went home, showered, shaved, took a spoonful of the medicine and then invited his wife to join him in the bedroom. When she came in, he took off his clothes and said, "1-2-3!" Immediately, he was the manliest of men. His wife, excited, began throwing off her clothes. And then she asked, "What was the 1-2-3 for?" And that, boys and girls, is why we should never end our sentences with a preposition, because we could end up with a dangling participle.
