  1. Nope ... Kept everything internal stock ... She was the perfect shooter to begin with and didn't want to do anything that might compromise that
  2. Open Carrying at the 12 oclock position LOL
  3. haha ... I can try & get some pics of the lightbox. Its just a cheapy from ebay. We use it daily for my business products. What we figured out ... It really doesn't matter what type of light box you have, assuming you have enough light. Its all a matter of what's INSIDE the lightbox As for most of our photos ... They are either taken on black plexiglass or sheets of colored carbon fiber haha ... why don't you like Kahrs? Wasn't a fan of DAO guns, even after owning both. 500 rounds later, and DAO is my favorite type now I'm a huge fan of Kahs & XD's

great little firearms and not at all hard to find. all of gunbroker & gunsamerica, not to mention countless units in LGS's ... congrats on the pick up I'm not confident in adjusting sites, so I would likely have my gunsmith take care of it for me.
  5. Thanks guys! Really happy with how she turned out
  6. This is my MK9. When I got her, she was mechanically sound, but she had definitely seen better days. After a few PM's back and for with Brandon (Mid TN Gunsmith) we decided to add a bit of 1911 character to her. Polishing the flats & media blasting the rounds and top of the slide. Before: (Wish I had some better pics, but you get the idea) AND ... The AFTER ... or as I like to say ... The Rebirth of the MK9 (The straight on shots don't do the polished any favors -- too much glare. The lay downs, you can really get a feel for just how shiny she is) I couldn't have asked for anything better. Shout out to Brandon for a GREAT job! ** Shameless Plug For Brandon ** Brandon's website is: Middle Tennessee Gunsmithing
  7. Get This ... One of my parents best friends used to be an aviation engineer. He is 92 years old, sharp as a tack, and richer than anyone I have ever known. He hasn't "worked" since he was in his early 40's. Back in the 60's, he developed a "transmission" that somehow allowed people to get 150-200 mpg. There was really no new technology to it, so he says. Instead of combustion (atleast as we know it motor wise), the roles of an engine & transmission were reversed. To this day, he isn't allowed to give details, but told us he presented his findings to several oil companies thinking this could really be huge... Instead of using the ideas he developed, they paid him (8 figure range) to buy the idea & bury it. I have no doubt what this old man has told me is true, seeing as he is like the granddad I never had .... I just pray he leaves me the design or renderings in his will to me Here's to hoping ....
  8. Links ... Thread is useless without knowing the price you ended up paying her!!! LOL
  9. Welcome CJ Nice pick up! Hope to see you around brother!
  10. and to think i was born and raised in the kommie .... sigh .....
  11. do you like wheel guns? jframes come pretty cheap (less than $400 new) or you can find some decent used S&W revolvers that you can polish up
  12. likely gonna be looking towards Sigs or 1911's .... If you only care about the slide, you can nickel plate one of your current glock slides
  13. MK9 I love mine ... I have both an MK9 & PM9 ... When my MK9 isn't getting a beauty makeover, she's my living room firearm

  16. We are a BIG dog family too Although not Dane's, we are a St Bernard Family .... And YES, RESCUE!!! Camelot, our big boy, we rescued at the age of 4 from a man who lost his house and kept him in an apartment. He weighed just over 100 lbs when we got him and his ribs were sticking out ... We have now had him coming up on 2 years this summer and is now a healthy 148 lbs of love. The other Saint is Kaylee, our female. We have had her since a puppy. Kaylee is only about 100-105 lbs.
  17. I have no doubt there have been some "weird" things that have happened over the last couple hundred years. I am a Christian, and most Christians would tell you, they don't believe in UFO's/Aliens. I on the other hand feel almost selfish for thinking God would only create a single humanity He created BILLIONS/TRILLIONS of stars, and to think God didn't create another earth is selfish IMO So, therefore, I believe, if God had wanted it, he would have, and the day I see him face to face, I can't wait to ask!
  18. i am DEFINITELY in the WRONG business .... 25,741 in 38 Days ?!?!?! 247,249 handguns just sold in TN per year .... wow .... speechless .... time to buy a machine shop!
  19. Yeah ... she's a damn good singer, without all the hooopla ... CA & BEP were a sight for soar eyes .... pure & utter junk.
  20. coming from Kommifornia ... Sales Tax: 9.75% STATE Income Tax: Can go as high as 10.3% Fed INCOME Tax: Just like any other state Vehicle Registration: ATLEAST $300 .... Many times much more When everything is said and done ... Upwards of 50-60% of what you make is gone right off the bat .... Living in TN, Sales Tax is less, there is no state income tax, and car registration is $80 bucks .... I don't plan to move any time soon. I would rather see consumption tax implemented over income tax. Why tax those that decide to save & strengthen banks .... it just makes no sense to me.
  21. Here's another pretty good alternative to CB holsters ... Old Faithful Holsters Sponsor of KahrTalk (another board I belong to) If you use "Kahr" at checkout, you get $10 off (atleast you still did about a month ago last I checked) [$35/each is hard to beat] They also have DIY kits for $20 bucks Not as flashy, but they automatically come with the "Combat" Cut
  22. First Page CONGRATS !!!!
