    380 Question...

when I had my P238's ... I carried cocked & locked in an Uncle Mikes 24/7. Didn't cover the safety, and after about day 2 of keeping it such, I had no more issues. the biggest hurdle for cocked & locked = its all a mind game. Assuming you have a good trigger guard, and the safety is engaged, it was just like carrying my PM9 with a good pocket holster.

    380 Question...

i feel comfortable carrying .380's ... Had a couple P238's in my day which I sold, but plan to buy again in the near future. With that said .... I'll be carrying my .380 and keeping my 9's with (13+ rounds) in the car. My .380 should give me enough time to get back to my car/house/boat where I have buckup
  5. how did you get a free Glock? (apologize in advance if I missed an earlier thread)

  11. PM9 ... she never leaves my side. I sweet talk her to keep her in a good mood, and for that, she displays all her glory at the range.
  12. You can meet the seller at a local gun store, and have them run a check if you'd like. Most people don't, and just use a Bill of Sale. Bill of Sale has all the sellers information including driver's license info, etc... so if something were to not check out someday, you know who you bought it from.

  14. There was one this morning, dead, on the side of the road in Goodlettsville That is the 3rd or 4th I've seen up here in Sumner County in the 2 years I've lived here
  15. 1000/2000 grit sandpaper & some Mothers Rubbing Compound will take it off within minutes. Takes me 20-30 minutes to go from beat up barrel to shiny barrel

    Cicadas

they are EVERYWHERE in Hermitage/Nashville. Driving down Elm Hill Pike and I can hear them OVER my radio blasting .... Had ATLEAST 20-30 dead ones on the deck. Hollowed out looking bodies, pretty odd considering I just moved here 2 years ago. Never experienced anything like these things.

    Sig p238

I had 2 at one point. One for me & the wife. Wife didn't care for it, I loved mine, but wanted to move everything to 9mm. My PM9 has always been reliable, just a bit large for pocket carry on those hott summer months. I don't shoot as much as I used to, and have thought about picking up another P238 or P380. Love the Kahr triggers, but I'm more accurate with the SAO trigger the P238 has. Carrying cocked & locked was a bit hairy the first couple days until my mind got over it. I do miss those little guns ...
  18. may need to show this to the wife

  20. i'm sort of in the same boat as the OP, except, I currently own a 370z My everyday car is a white 370z I've had for over 2 years now .... I'm looking to trade her in for a truck -- thinking an F150 (love the new ones) plan to move to some farmland and the truck will really come in handy, not to mention, the 370z won't make the driveway
