  1. Thanks for the feedback guys
  2. Mykltn ... The micro eagle, from what I hear, is reliable. Trigger is a bit long/heavy, but I really haven't seen any issues. Have you thought about an LCR in .38/357? I have an LCP and LCR and love both equally. I realize you are against polymer, but they really are quite lite and both have been 100% reliable
  3. Erik, Have you shot the TulAmmo .223 before? How dirty is it?
  4. very very good point atlas ... I'll likely never switch uppers, and keep it a .308, but the option IS there From all the reviews I've seen on the 716, its a great long gun. If I were just to spend that type of money on any type of AR platform, I'd prefer Colt over Sig
  5. Looks like the Colts are starting to come available. Check gunbroker
  6. Major ... Wait for the Colt LE901-16s Comes stock as a 308, but you can switch uppers and shoot 223/5.56 with the same lower Its had some awesome reviews so far! http://www.coltsmfg.com/Catalog/ColtRifles/ColtLE90116S.aspx
  7. This sum's up my EXACT thoughts on the subject as well
  8. LCR in .38 & a PPQ That's what I would do with $1000 to spend
  9. What's even sadder about that story is the fact that KONY is still around
  10. We took a flight in early August from BNA to LAX. No issues through BNA. However, coming back, LAX tested our BABY BOTTLES FILLED WITH WATER. We had our child, with his diaper bag, etc... and they tested the baby bottles FILLED WITH WATER. It was pretty sad
  11. Something doesn't sound right .... He could easily get $500 for it in rough shape ... You might want to meet him at a local gun store and have them run a background on the firearms ... It might be worth the extra transfer fee & TICS to make sure its clean.
  12. Good call Dolomite. I haven't seen any Buckmark's/Mark I/II/III's with threaded barrels. Hmmmm
  13. Ruger Lite 22/45 Its on my short list as well
  14. I'm not stating I want wolves "Introduced" per say, simply that I could see them doing well, much like how well coyotes do these days Up here in Sumner county - We have PLENTY of rabbits. Granted, I live between 2 farms, but they are everywhere. When I see a healthy dose of rabbits killed along the roadways, I know our population up here is doing quite well. In my 3 years up here, I've only ever seen 1 yote, and he was going after a chicken at the farm next to where we live. Outside of the 2 or 3 chickens he's had picked off over the past couple of years, he doesn't seem to have many issues with yotes around.
  15. If it is indeed a wolf, living in Tennessee year round with no real predators or competition for that matter (outside of yotes/cats/etc...) ... it may be a reason why he looks so *healthy*. All the deer, young fawns, gofers, turkey, & rabbits all year round = A healthy wolf. I think wolves in TN would do incredibly well, especially with the amount of cover we have here, and *light* winters
  16. Very Cool! I've been considering a 22/45 ever since selling my buckmark. Did yours come with a threaded barrel?
  17. +1 I have looked at these pictures now ATLEAST 20 times. It looks like either 50/50 mix, but I'm leaning more towards 80-100% True Wolf. Possibly domesticated to a certain extent since it seems like its completely fine in wide open spaces. Blowing up the pictures -- Looking at the size, facial features, ears, & coat has me personally leaning towards 100% wolf

    Taurus M380

I think this would be a VERY popular LCR caliber. I'd pick one up
  19. Colors are quite muted like a Wolf mix. It looks like a wolf in my opinion
  20. I was sold reading all of these: http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/72065/Walther+PPQ9+9mm+4.1%22+15Rd.+Black 53 reviews (52 when I purchased) -- All 5 stars. Not a SINGLE 4 star or less. I've seen plenty of firearm reviews, but I've never seen any as good as the PPQ. I have embraced the Koolaid, and have now immersed myself in the Koolaid
  21. Dangit! My BOL has been found. Gotta find a new one now
  22. HAHAHA ... I don't go through them as quickly as some guys on here!!!! The *Untouchable* Parts of my Arsenal: 1) Ruger LCP (took this on a trade - love it) 2) DD Larry Vickers Edition 3) PPQ & Hopefully a First Edition PPQ Someday. 4) Boberg Arms XR9-s I won't guarantee I'll never sell a PPQ, but until a Striker Fired Gun comes out with a better trigger, it won't be happening. Glock/XD/M&P can't hold a candle to the PPQ. And I absolutely LOVE the ambi mag release! Can do it without maneuvering my grip which is just awesome
  23. I haven't updated this thread in a while. Picked up a PPQ 9mm, and plan to pick up several more. BEST FIREARM HANDS DOWN, PERIOD, EXCLAMATION POINT I'll write a much longer review in the next couple of weeks! Absolutely love it if you couldn't tell
