Trout ...   I've had zero feeding problems with the Eley ... I should CCI SV & Minimags along with Federal.  All function as they should.

Titanium isn't too incredibly difficult to machine.  Not sure why there is a $95k price tag .... Surprised other companies haven't come out with Titanium lowers yet?

DAVE ...   I am by no means saying Chicago is worse than Memphis or vice versa.   Simply telling you how I felt when I passed through Watts in CA a few years back :) LOL   My original point was the fact that Chicago taxes anything & everything they can.  They tax the poor via the crazy taxes they have on cigarettes, they tax law abiding gun owners trying to help pay for homicide's and shooting victim's, etc...

Chicago just reached 500 homicides for 2012 ... the most since 2008.   so what do they do you might ask ?!?!?!?   tax each new gun purchase $25.  that's because we all know criminals go and buy guns legally :squint:   Chicago is what this entire country will soon look like if the obummer followers have their way ....

I'd love to move to 300 BLK if ammo was easier to come by.  With COLT making it mainstream, we may start to see it more & more :) 

The Mini 14 has 1 good thing going for it -- with a short mag, it looks like a hunting rifle with a wood stock.  I'm planning to buy one if/when pricing comes back to earth :)

IMO ... and out of respect for fellow TGO members -- I will not price gouge on these boards.  I'll offer up fair trades (like you can see in my gear classified ad's)   I think 2-3-4x MSRP should be put up on Armslist and/or Gunbroker.  I wish we could keep TGO sanctified to a certain extent :usa:   I have sold a few things for a premium on Gunbroker, but I have also traded fairly here on these boards.   This is a brotherhood community of sorts IMO, and I hate to see any sort of price gouging on here.   just my useless :2cents:

Give the Safe House a call in Nashville.  They'd probably know better than us what a standard floor with crawl space underneath can hold.   I had them install my safe about a month ago -- They did a great job! :)
