Thinking about Starting up my own Members Only Shooting Range
xRUSTYx replied to PackinMama's topic in General Chat
Maybe its just me ... But I would not want a range next to my house (or relatively even close). Perhaps I'm a bit more of a private person -- even being a "private club" -- just wouldn't sit well with me. Now, if I had acreage separate from my private acreage -- I'd probably be more open to it :) My best suggestion - Find a lawyer that knows their stuff. Outside of separating personal vs business assets (that's a given), you need to have a CPA/Lawyer research "For Profit" and "Not For Profit" ... Have an insurance agent research policies that would cover what you plan to do. Your Team Should Consist Of: 1) Lawyer 2) CPA 3) Insurance Agent 4) Young backs :) -
Good to hear Volzfan :) I'd much prefer to hear of good transactions over bad -- although bad (like my own thread here) are normally what you see. 1 in 100 they say :) I just wish I'd get a response via email or something. Heck, if they said - "Wait a month for it to ship" - Atleast I wouldn't sit wondering :) I own an online business myself... granted, its never made the run like these online gun businesses have -- but a quick note goes a long way :) Lets hope my issue was the exception and everyone else stays happy with them :) we may have just "bent" the rules a bit :) LOL EPIC & Full of Win ... absolutely :)

Hey Guys ... Just thought I would pass this along. Placed an order for a Pink Ruger LCP from Impactguns.com on 2/6/2013. At the time, it showed, "In Stock". As soon as the order was placed, it showed "Out of Stock" -- I assume I probably got the last one, great! Got an order confirmation via email and everything seemed to be good to go. Anyways -- I did research their site prior to placing the order. They had a banner that orders were taking 3-4 days to process. No biggie, I don't mind waiting a few days, as I understand most LGS and Suppliers are relatively backed up. Fast forward to 8 days after placing my order. I call the number they have on their website: 1-888-505-3086 ... It apologizes that they can't take call's right now, and simply disconnects. Try calling the number and you will see what I mean. Figured phone lines might be a bit busy -- Tried several times throughout the day, same message. Next up, Day #9, I shoot them an email (sales@impactguns.com) -- Still no response to this day. Fast forward to today: Day 14 (2/20/2013) -- 2 Weeks after order has been placed. Tried Calling - Same Message Tried Submitting Email Through their contact us page, this is what I get when I click "Submit" --Your request could not be completed. Please try again or choose another link. So, here I sit, 2 weeks after the order. I can't get ahold of impactguns.com any which way I have tried. I've tried local random numbers, the 888 number, emails via my email account, and contacting them via their "Contact Us" page. Not sure what to do at this point minus starting a chargeback request via my CC. Anyone else with negative experiences with impactguns.com?

I've watched that same video ATLEAST 10 times! I love it, and laugh every time even though I know what's coming! LOL

I just got the firearms trade offer of a life time...
xRUSTYx replied to Spots's topic in General Chat
I've gotten to the point where I don't even respond to retarded trades requests like that ... Delete + Ignore :) -
I can only look at this as a positive for Magpul. They can now move from a state with Corporate Taxes (and state income tax) to a State with No Corporate Taxes & No State Income Tax (or at the very least -- heavy tax breaks/incentives for moving to another state) This could actually be an incredibly PROFITABLE move for them :) My guess -- Magpul probably started looking at other areas/states when the Aurora Shooting took place .... Any smart business owner/board would. Fast forward to the CT Shooting, and that plan was likely put in overdrive -- especially with Dem support growing in CO. They've had a plan in the works for quite a while -- I can almost guarantee it :)

Interactive Map Of Where Guns Were Used In Self Defense!
xRUSTYx replied to xRUSTYx's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Very true .... But -- A list of justified shoots in defense is the next best thing :) Went through quite a few of those ballons in the south last night, reading about each one :) -
Coupling the finest components in the industry with bullets by manufacturers such as Hornady, Barnes and Nosler, these rounds set a new standard for high-performance hunting ammunition. Per 20. I just read the actual description on the product (right above warnings), not any further down. Saw $49.99 and "Per 20" and clicked the "X" .... LOL

$2.50/round ?!?!?! :ugh: $50 per box of 20 .... and they are "Factory Seconds" to boot

This is why our children will be homeschooled. Whether that be from their mother or their grandmother (who was a teacher for many years) Today's school system is a tragedy :(

Gunsmith at Guns and Leather Greenbriar?
xRUSTYx replied to Peace's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
No, Greenbrier is not up and running. Daniel said it should be back open in about 2 weeks. Not sure if Jeff's side of things has remained open or not? Shoot "Metalhead" a PM on here and he should be able to help more :) -
the Pink LCP? impactguns.com -- They had one in stock last Friday. Ordered it, and now they are back out of stock: http://www.impactguns.com/product.aspx?zpid=34120 If you sign up for the notification, they'll email you when they have one ready to go!

380 or 9mm for a small carry gun would probably be ideal ... My Suggestion's in order of preference: 1) S&W Shield in 9mm (has safety) 2) Ruger LCR in .38 (no safety - but heavy trigger pull) 3) Sig P238 or P938 (380 or 9mm) -- Both get carried cocked & locked #1 Would probably be the best IMO (but they are incredibly hard to find reasonably priced). If she doesn't care about a safety, check out a Ruger LCP. Just got my wife one in Pink :)

Former LAPD officer subject of manhunt.
xRUSTYx replied to Chucktshoes's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
That's nuts! Interesting how he didn't want to harm any Civilians outside of the family of his attorney.
