1. You have to remember who Dave's "target audience" is ... I don't agree with all of Dave's preachings, but for 95% of people - he will lead them out of debt and on to a path of financial stability.
2. IMO ... Rent a house for a year. Live here in Middle TN for a year and explore. This also gives you time to find land and build. Don't buy someones "Used" house. With a budget like what you have - Build. Get everything you want built, all to your specs, and you'll never regret it :) Just my :2cents:
3. Take a hard look at Gallatin. The wife & I just bought 15 acres out there to build on (about 3 weeks ago is when we closed). Prime Country real estate, on a hill, overlooking a holler & 4 acre pond. We searched for close to 18 months before pulling the trigger on this property. We paid $159k ... Decent land in Sumner County will cost approx $10 - $15k an acre. The farther out you get, the cheaper. Hendersonville closer to $30k. So ... My suggestion would be Gallatin. Here's some pictures of ours :)
4. Vanguard -- Stick with their Index funds.

8. I Live by the "View New Content" tab up in the right hand corner. Hasn't been working for me today. It just goes blank when I click and says "Sorry, no new content found." Anyone else with this issue?

10. I wouldn't touch it! Function test that beast and put her away! :)

Sent at lightning speed from my unholstered iPhone5
11. This ... I'd recommend either the Asus RT-AC66R or AC66U (I'd recommend the U over the R) -- For $30 more, you get quite a few more bell's and whistle's. I myself run a Netgear R6300 -- Both the Asus and Netgear are dual band and ahead of the game offering 802.11AC ... Not many uses for it currently, but come Q3 or Q4 of 2013 - you'll be glad you went with an AC router earlier rather than later. Both are around $200 -- Both can be picked up at Best Buy (not the AC66U - Newegg or Amazon for this one)
12. Can't even open the page ... keep timing out!
13. My thinking is along the same lines as OS ... Personally ... 1 shot ... I'd take a 12 gauge slug over almost anything else. I mean, are you really wanting to take down a buck with a 308 out of a 7" barrel with a scope not sighted in for the correct caliber? I find this set more of a novelty ... With that said -- I'm still putting it on my "WANT" list :) LOL
14. Didn't realize this topic would be so popular! Not even a single reply!?!?!?! LOL
15. These are my fire starters... when one don't work, I grab another
16. I've been waiting on the special edition takedown that has the threaded barrel. Haven't been able to find one yet :( I did see that Whittakers post though. They had something like 60 or 80 takedowns! That's just nuts!
17. Congrats knoxrocks! We just had our first about 10 months ago! Time flies .... I wish you & your family the best of luck! Sleep = You won't be getting much for atleast the first few weeks. That's what adrenaline is for :)
18. Welcome fellow Hendersonvillian
19. Looking goooooood gj! I really like the stitching  You have my shipping address right? HEHE
20. Throw "minority, illegal, etc..." at any "research" and you'll get a government grant ... (*cough *cough - HANDOUT) disgusting ....
21. This is the entire reason they got the grant....
22. I too was looking at it as good news for Magazine's and Ammo .... But 6.8 does bring up a good point ... I think you're right ... Crisis after Crisis -- I'm afraid normalcy is still a way's away :(
23. Looks like the AWB and the "High" Capacity Magazine Ban have both been dropped from the National "Gun Bill" in the Senate! Now, just to drop the entire thing! We've made headway atleast! http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2013/03/19/feinstein-assault-weapons-ban-reid-senate-bill/2000119/
24. I agree ... Never considered Samson might be black either. Before this series, I guess you can say I was very simplistic in my views on Biblical characters. This show has helped open up my eyes and mind to the idea that not all may be what I imagine in my head :) Overhaul, I think the series is good. There have been a few inconsistencies that my wife has pointed out, but overall, nothing I can see that would dismay God himself :)
