The ammo is what I loaded and regulated it for. I just wasn't steady Saturday.

I have been fighting pneumonia for a month and needed to get some trigger time Saturday. I was shooting at 50 and 100 yards with my 30-06 over under rifle. I could not get a decent group together. So I was starting to get frustratef. I decided to plink some clay pigeon fragments. The first one at 50 yards destroyed one shot. Second one at 50 same thing. Went out to 100 and proceeded to annihilate 6 in a row. So have any of you ever had trouble holding a group on paper but still able to shoot accurately on small targets? The problem most likely is the loose screw behind the rifle it just seemed odd.

Hopefully it "de-manned" him as well so he can't pass on stupid genes. Dude was extremely lucky he did not kill his buddies or maim them. Yes when I was younger we did stupid crap but none of my friends or myself blew our own legs off. Even when we played with explosives we used a little common sense. -
Another they shouldn't have shot him because......

I agree the entitlement mentality that they have is spreading throughout the country like a cancer. Too many people think they don't have to work and if you work hard they are entitled to what you have earned. When it collapses these are the ones who will be dying off first. -
You get a smokey pop and the shot really doesn't do much

If the see through rings are steel there are fewer issues however if they are aluminum there can be a lot of issues. Sometomes they are not heat treated well and the weight of the scope under recoil can cause the zero to wander. While gunsmithing and working as a range officer I have seen quite a few that had this issue. Some where so soft you could cause it by twisting the scope by hand even with all the screws torqued correctly.

In some movies and tv shows they use cgi for rifle fire. Any blank that will function a semi auto reliably will be loud

We just lost our rescue yellow lab Hunney. She wad 12 years old and died of a stroke Friday night. Our black pit mix is in mourning just like my wife and I. Good for you taking care of these precious souls. Maybe once the heart aches dies down we will bring in a new family member to the pack

Wouldn't doubt it at all.

I knew him when I lived in Colorado, he is a royal douche. He used to be a trainer armorer for the Aurora police department. A cadet got killed in a class room under his direct tutelage and he showed no remorse

My other book/ movie inspired rifle is a 45-70 double rifle. Inspired by all the African hunters and explorers in books and movies over the years. -

That is why I bought a FN FAL. During the Falklands war and thtoughout the 80's it was the rifle that seemed to be everywhere there was a shooting war going on. Then I watched the Wild Geese. So I bought my FN FAL in 1993 or 1994 -
The lyman air gun pellet stule can be very accurate. I was able to hot a steel plate in a class at 150 yards consistantly. I was dhooting them through a 870 with rifle sights and a modified tube.

Heard the real "Oz" interviewed last night snd he said the survivors were very involved with the filming. The director would do a take and ask them how they thought it looked. It is ver true to real life. I will see it Friday night. If and when we meet in person ask me what I was told about that night.

Howdy from Spring Hill.

They need to keep their booger hooks off the bang switch unless they are on target and ready to shoot.

All of the above requires a certain mindset the leader, Deanna, does not have. She and her group were living with blinders on. They acted like the eorld out side had mot died. None of them had a clue about how to harden their community against threats.
