  1. I'm a libertarian so I tend to favor immediate restoration after completion of sentence on principle, but I've also been a criminal defense attorney for 28 years so I would favor a hybrid restoration system: Completion of sentence for nonviolent felons; Completion of sentence plus a time period, my personal preference would be 10 years and then restoration for even a violent felony short of murder; no restoration for murderers. I've had many clients who committed felonies in their youth who have thereafter led a law abiding life and for whom there is no valid reason not to have their full rights restored.
  2. Adam Dread is a politician, plain and simple. It would not surprise me in the least that he would have left the TFA and gone directly to an anti-gun group and made diametrically opposed statements. I have some acquaintance with him both personally and professionally and would advise counting ones fingers after shaking his hand to make sure all of your fingers are retained. Just a personal opinion.
  3. I did. It's not been posted yet, but I responded.
  4. I have a 250 2Sum in 9. Frankly, I like mine for what it is. Let me explain that. I'm a Sig guy and prefer the traditional Sigs in DA/SA. The 250 as a DAO is not my preference but that having been said I've found mine to be a great shooter. It is accurate and reliable, mine has about 500 rounds through it trouble free. The trigger though long is smooth and has a clean break that once you're used to, is a great shooter. If you have experience in DA revolvers, you'll probably love the 250. I like the modular nature of the design that allows you to virtually change any aspect of the gun from grip to caliber with a single trigger unit as it gives you more versatility than any other pistol of which I am aware. I don't think it will ever win my heart, I'll not quit carrying my P220, but I do, depending on my clothing carry the 250 in Subcompact form in a High Noon IWB holster that conceals extremely well. Just my personal experience.

  14. I have an XD9 and a 45. Great guns. Not my favorites, but great guns.
  15. I have a Sig 238 in .380 that I regularly carry in my pocket as backup for the Sig 220 on my hip. I prefer the 220 in .45 because of the way it feels in my hand and the desire to carry the most gun I can. That beings said, I often, in a rush go out with only the .380 with no hesitation. I use the same rounds in it mentioned above and do not feel undergunned. If you can hit what you shoot, you'll be fine. If someone tell you the .380 is underpowered and not effective for personal defense, they're probably just caliber snobs. I had a guy tell me once that the .380 was "worthless" for personal defense and "wouldn't stop anybody." I asked him if he'd have any objection then to me testing it on him to see if his theory was correct. He declined. Accuracy is the key.
  16. OK, I was going to leave it at a friendly note, but........................................ If you want a perfect plastic pistol the Sig Pro 2022 has got to be perfect. Plastic for those of you averse to carry a real steel pistol but with the same manual of arms of a real SIG. The best of both worlds.
