  1. There's a Nashville group: http://www.meetup.com/weedeaters/ I've never been to one of their meetings, it never fits in my schedule.
  2. As of Saturday, PSA had 16" FN barrels...I ordered one.
  3. Interesting idea!...Do you know a source for the Tokarev pulled bullets or are they some you pulled yourself?
  4. I'm mostly interested in rifle but both are fine with me. So, how about it? All we need is a range and for folks to show up.
  5. I have the videos, ammo, and time...just need a range within a reasonable distance and I'm in!
  6. Wideners has them, again. Just throwing it out there, the popularity of these seems to come and go. They're about $400 this time around. I'll post a link if I'm on my computer later-it's too much trouble on my iPad. Enjoy!
  7. ...Or the advantage of the .22, lots of lightweight ammo and relative velocity. I must admit, I still find stuff like this to be intriguing. I'd enjoy the heck out of it as a toy. I doubt it hits any harder than my 55# recurve so I'd rather have that.
  8. I didn't see it when skimming the article...I'd be curious to know what kind of velocity they are getting from a .22 blank. That dart looks a little heavy on the front end.
  9. I must agree with the Millet...for the money. They are decent scopes offering variable magnification. I have one on a FAL (.308) and it has performed well/ held zero.
  10. Wait...there are Other zombie tv series'? On topic: I very much look forward to this season and plan to watch Sunday-no rifle though, my wife already thinks I'm weird.
  11. I'm in H'ville, not sure I'd describe my current place as a camp, though.
  12. I'm interested...just not enough to go looking for it. Why kill the thread?

    Mr. Mom?

I have 2 boys...ones 3 yrs old and the others 4 months old. It's just them and me every weekend. It's tough but worth it to me.
  14. Very nice!
  15. What exactly are you trying to do? I successfully filled out the paperwork to assemble an SBR in Hendersonville and had the sherriff (in Gallatin) sign off on it. It's simple enough though, expensive and time consuming.
  16. I'm a guilty member of the girly, flip-flop wearing crowd. No biggie...besides, with the right motivation, you'll run either way.
  17. I've been "subject...to a humiliating search of urine..." for a lot of jobs I've applied to over the years. I don't suppose it should be deemed unreasonable if I were asking for a handout/assistance. I am surprised that they are expected to pay for the test, though. Edit: previous post beat me to it.
  18. Nice work Chad! A Kandros build is working it's way up the list (right behind about 4 more rifles). -Dave W.
  19. Well spoken! I'll never understand how so many simply don't get this.
  20. Patiently awaiting this photo!
  21. After calling/driving around for 2 frustrating days, I was able to get Bush Jewelers to engrave my lower. They are in H'ville, engraved while I waited and only charged $7.69. Things Remebered refused to do it-said it was corporate policy not to touch anything firearms related. Fast Fix in R'gate Mall said they could not clamp the piece in securely enough. Many other places said no for a variety of reasons. I will be completing SBR #2 soon and will be returning to Bush Jewelers.
  22. I'm in Sumner Co but would be interested in meeting/shooting in one of the mentioned counties.
