    Beretta ARX160

I wonder how many continuous rounds fired before the barrel comes out? Other than that, I believe I want one.

    Gamefly?

Looks like I'll be getting this service in the next few months. Thanks, everyone.

    Gamefly?

Anyone else use this service? I'm thinking of getting into it, but I don't know anyone with first-hand experience.
  4. I'm on this boat. It felt comforting to have that extra bit that takes nothing to manipulate.
  5. I love my XD. It's the first pistol I ever bought and is my EDC. I got the subcompact version, though. Glad to hear you like yours! *Thumbs up*
  6. They shouldn't have sales like this--it's bordering on robbery
  7. I wear the same New Balances for everything. **** flip flops.
  8. All I'm really concerned about is muzzle rise, I can deal with recoil (my bro's S12 is a hoot to shoot for me). I'm looking at the BattleComp now. Can't help but keep going back to a few more afternoons of shooting being the key to a quicker follow up, though. ETA: I think I found the one I want if I do go that way: http://primaryweapons.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=9&idcategory=6#details
  9. I like it! Nice build.

    tec 9

Too much for what they're worth and no. It's like using a cinder block when a brick will do. My brother has the .22 LR version and it's a blast to shoot, though.
  11. Thanks, Dolomite.
  12. I was thinking over this while at work last night and I don't think I've gotten enough trigger time to get used to the felt recoil. Maybe my problem lies there.
  13. I'm just getting into it, so I'm open to ideas. I'm running an AR.-15. Thanks for the reply, gotigers and Mike
  14. Looks like I'll be going DPMS, then. For $60 at JoeBob's, I'd be an idiot not to.
  15. I've watched some videos and it seems it's the way to go for quick follow up shots. I wanted opinions (if I went and hammered out a few hundred rounds, could I work past the recoil bit, is the noticable lessened recoil, et cetera)?
  16. I'm jealous.
  17. I was considering getting a Hogue wraparound. Also, that is a nice XD. My favorite pistol.
  18. Mike, that rifle turned out great. I'm jealous.
  19. Love mine. Couldn't imagine not having one.
  20. The E2 grip I found far more comfortable than the traditional grips. I shot a friend's traditional gripped 229 awhile back and just before that I held an E2 model (no trigger time, gunshop). It felt like night and day to me. I can't believe there were fans for the pistol before the E2 came along. (No offense, Nysos )

    My New Rifle

Even though it isn't converted, I like the look of it. I'm a former AK guy that picked up the AR--but I still can't imagine where I'd be without my first AK.
  22. Nysos, Troy Ind. is having a sale right now for Aimpoint products--buy anything Aimpoint and get a free set of Troy sights (which can be turned around and sold) Gun Sights|M7 Upgrades|Tritium Sights|Muzzle Brakes|Rail Covers|Troy Industries David, nice build. *Thumbs up*
  23. After trolling numerous gun forums and dropping a thread on the subject in every one I've come to a majority vote on the gas piston AR; DI is fine the way it is. Buying quality parts will effect the outcome of the build (****ty parts = ****ty rifle). That means less for the civilian market
  24. Are these posts ****ed up to everyone? Date-wise? ETA: Fixed, nevermind. I screwed with the settings.
