    Oh, we all do it
  2. Good call, Nysos. They do have an EoTech with a sort of built in range-finder... Lemme see if I can find the link... Amazon.com: Eotech Holo Sight KIT 557-AR223, Free Batteries and Scopecoat: Sports & Outdoors It will work when you get your magnifier, aswell.

    Glock 1911????

Yeah, it was so fake I had to share.
  4. That's what I figured, but I heard too many people saying such for it to be written off as a rumor in my book.

  6. Here's a question I have about them: is it true that when you pull the trigger for a quick burst that all the rounds will get set off (down the pipe) due to the vibrations in the firearm?

If the field stripping is anything like their RFB they lost me, but if it isn't I'll probably buy one.
  8. I'd like to know the parts included in this rifle, but I like the idea :ohyeah: Also, just wanted to note that the brand of ammo lends to the AK's innaccuracy (IE Wolf isn't as accurate as Hornady).
  9. So I was searching, and I should be calling this a RECCE upper (SEAL Recon Rifle - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia). My bad
  10. I was wondering what effect a muzzle brake would have on a rifle. Good to know. I may have to look into that for mine. ETA ordered the flash hider. This is the last part I need before putting it all together.
  11. I noticed that. So weird...
  12. So I found the flash hider I've been looking for. I believe I'll eventually get a suppressor, but I won't cry if I never do. YHM Phantom 5.56 Flash Hider/ Supressor Mount Also, I'm trying to figure out what I should do with my own rifle...

I haven't been to this store. How many are there in Clinton? I may need to check it out.

Hit up Gunbroker.com if you want to browse 5.45x39 Saigas. Also, checking out Coal Creek Armory in Knoxvegas is a good idea, they might order you in one.
  16. Wow, that sure is a nice rifle! I was thinking of going side-charging but the upper receivers/BCGs are outrageously priced, at least for me. I definitely like it, though.

I keep hearing that, but they've never acted that way toward me. And it's... difficult... Let me find a link... http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/long-guns/36850-saiga-conversion-links.html

What he said ^ If you're looking to spend a few more bills, hit up Arsenal, Inc. or Krebs Customs. ETA: I used to live in Harriman. Do yourself a favor and go over to Mid South Pawn (next to Sav-A-Lot and that movie place), sometimes they have good stuff, sometimes not so much. Also, jumping on I-40 E and going to Frontier Firearms in Kingston isn't too bad an idea. Happy hunting.
  19. Are we basing an argument purely on personal preference? Sorry, I don't follow. I'll take my burger with a side of fries, you may not want to. ETA I didn't mean to **** up a thread because of something that I like to do. That wasn't very cool, and I'm sorry to OP.
  20. If you're still looking at the Ruger Gunsite, here's one at ARFCOM for $625... Not too shabby. WTS Ruger GSR - AR15.COM
  21. While I don't share your sentiments, I like your humor. And happy birthday, buddy.
  22. Quoted for truth.
  23. Frontier Firearms in Kingston and Austin's here in Oak Ridge. There are a few in Knoxvegas I've been meaning to get to, but haven't yet.
  24. I've never been here before, but it came in under a Google search... ScoutRifle.org - The Scout Rifle Community - Index Seems like a whole forum dedicated to this topic.
  25. When I check my chamber, I pull the charging latch back for visual confirmation, then use the forward assist to insure the bolt is home. I thought everyone did this... DPMS is good for range toy.
