  1. That is my understanding as well.
  2. Well said!!!
  3. Carry on your person onto someone's property for a yard sale and leaving it in your car at the same yard sale are two different things to me. So is the same thing at a place of business. This bill wouldn't allow anyone to carry on their person inside of the business if the business owner doesn't want them to, it simply would allow someone to store a legally transported firearm in their vehicle (also private property) so long as it stays locked up inside of the vehicle. No if an employer or place of business doesn't want me to provide me a place to park period....that is fine as well. But if they are going to allow me to park my private property (vehicle) on their private property....then I'm not really sure why they need to worry about what lawful items are in that vehicle so long as they stay inside that vehicle.
  4. Post officers are off-limits per their regulations.
  5. Perhaps, but it still isn't automatically off-limits, even if they have metal dectors. Yep and Federal Law requires Federal Buildings be posted with a sign that states they are such. 18 USC § 930(h)
  6. Unless it was posted, it's not off-limits to carry in a courthouse. I have carried in the courthouse here many times, even in the courtroom when there for a county commissioner meeting.
  7. I'm pretty sure Federal law still applies on federal property...
  8. Merged with existing thread.
  9. They jump around depending on who is in the room etc... It was rolled till next week.
  10. They've skipped around. I've been away for a few....not sure if they've heard it yet or not.
  11. 25th on the agenda...wouldn't be surprised if they didn't even get to it today....
  12. If a business doesn't want my car on their property....fine, do not provide a place to park. If they provide me a place to park (in other words allowing my private property on to theirs) the shouldn't worry about any legal items stored in my car as long as they stay in my car.
  13. Threads merged.
  14. Arrrrrggghhhhh lol Nevermind, I already know how and I am and I know how to check. Little over 1300 miles last 3 days has got me a bit loopy...ok more than normal...lol
  15. Is there a way to subscribe/follow a sub-forum like before?
  16. For those using Internet Explorer (yeah, yeah, keep it to yourself) there is a program called IEspell that adds a button to your toolbar that will spell check anything in a text box. That is what I use and it works well.
  17. Dang old cookies. Conversion done just in time, been on road since noon and not back home till Friday with just iPhone. Really loving it!!!
  18. Yep, sort of like not being able to carry in a commercial vehicle lol
  19. I'm not using TapTalk either. May need to clear cookies.
  20. Is there a link to the story somewhere?
  21. When I first logged on, it showed I had 53 unread messages, they were all old ones, so just figured it was because of the switch. Just marked 'em all read.
  22. Yes. Scroll down to bottom of the page. Lower left corner there is a link to use mobile version.
  23. Looks great...I really like the native mobile skin on my iPhone. When I click on the blue dot/star to go the first unread post in a thread...it just goes to the top of the thread. But if I click the link in an email I get about a new post, it does go straight to that post. I admit this could have something do with my browser etc... but wanted to mention it.
  24. I'm not even sure how that could be done...it requires a decision/ruling for the Dept of Safety first. There is also an AG ruling that says LEOs can only take a HCP from someone if they have been ordered to by the DOS.
