  1. It's ok and to answer your question I don't want either but I supposed the kissing would be most confusing to a kid.
  2. I am back! I have been AWOL for a few days. I can't believe how much we have in common on here. I met my husband online and we have been together 10 years now. Angel, I lost my Mom on 10-02-99 just a couple weeks after you. Gee! http://www.babyjane.ws/index8.html OK on to the questions: Question: If you were handed a million dollars cash, what would you do with it? I would pay off all mine and my childrens debts first and then buy some land. Question: should single parents (moms or dads), including those single by divorce, serve in the front lines of the military? Thats a hard question, to me the most important thing for a child is to have his or her parents with them. If they are single then that child needs that parent at home raising them. Question: What is one of your favorite experiences? I have to agree with Packin, it was when I gave birth to my children. Question: What's your favorite tv program? Sheesh, that's hard but I guess I will have to say "House". Question: What is your favorite movie or mini series? Mine is The Thorn Birds
  3. OK I'm here with Firefox, lets see what happens. As of before posting this post I see no girl. *Edit to add: See girl after new post.* *and edit to add again: Girl disappears after new post is new no longer.*
  4. I also have Vista if that might matter, but I really don't think that it does. Who knows, but yes I will clear out my cookies and cache but I doubt that will work, it is just a little bug somewhere that all of us caught maybe it was planted by a anti-gunny persson
  5. I use IE 7, Natosha what is happening is that when we make a new post, once it posts then I can see the girl icon, then if I go out and come back in or hit refresh it disappears, so it shows only immediately after a new post. Try it and see if that is how it is working for you. Of course I can live without the girl icon, but some things drive me crazy just because it has no reason not to work. Ya know? But it makes me wonder what else I am missing.
  6. Ditto! Question:should HCP/CCW rules be "universal" throughout this country...or should it remain individual states' rules? I wish they were universal with it being the best of all the states laws put together.
  7. I'm glad you found this in time for your new one coming along. Gotta get them while their young.
  8. Hmmm how odd LOL, I just ask my daughter to look also, so you see it? I don't see her or a boy in anyone else's little box. I always see the cards and I see the Military icon in some and the Police one in some etc, but I have NEVER seen the girl or a boy in any until I seen one in my own post last night and then after I refresh it disappears. hahahaha how very strange, I guess it is on my end but I have no idea why. Oh well, such is life, I might not lose too much sleep over it tonight
  9. OK something weird is going on, Tungsten, when I post a new post there is a little girl icon beside my carry card icon under my avatar but then when I refresh it is gone. Do you have any idea what it is and why it is disappearing? OK here is what I am talking about.
  10. Wow I hadn't even noticed my veteran member thingy LOL. cool.... Tungsten, that is hilarious!!!
  11. Good question. Personally I do not feel that it should be ok to shot someone unless they are threatening you or someone with bodily harm or death. To shoot someone over a possession just doesn't sit well with me. Things can be replaced or not but no object on earth is worth a life in my opinion. On the other hand, if a thief breaks into and enters my home and is stealing something I would pull a weapon and demand them to stop and if they came at me with the intent to harm me then I feel that I would be justified in defending myself.
  12. Maybe we will be able to meet up at one of those banquet sometime.
  13. Cool Tabby, I will definitely choose that one when I get Marks membership ordered.
  14. You do? Hmmm, I would put her in her place if I was you.
  15. My husband is waiting on his HCP, it has been gone 8 weeks today so hopefully it won't be much longer, so as soon as it is here he will carry. Question: Was there a defining moment or something that happened that caused you to decide to carry?
  16. I really like my G26 and it is handy for all the reasons you mentioned about your Glock but I couldn't agree with you more, I LOVE my CZ. I am really surprised that CZ doesn't have a better following, actually you don't hear much one way or the other about them, but the gun is awesome in my eyes but then I am still new but my PCR won't go anywhere, it will always have a place in my collection.
  17. Tabby, I was 39 when I got to see the ocean for the first time, it was amazing, took my breath away. To answer your question, if I could only have one gun it would be my CZ but I sure would hate to give up my Glock.
  18. Wow, sounds awesome. I chose the American Rifleman magazine because Mark has read them and likes them, he is gonna sign up also and I will get him to order the one you mentioned, or can we do that?
  19. Any of you women members of the NRA? I've been wanting to join and so I finally sent in my money today to join. Not sure exactly what all it means but I suppose it is important and I'm supposed to get a free NRA duffle bag
  20. endimetriosis?
  21. That's the first thing I noticed also, he's a dweeb!!!
  22. :cool:Ahem!! And girls. There are some (Glock girls) on the board. Glock girls know how to like their guns and will stand up and defend them but they also don't put other peoples guns or choices down. You ninja's that want to high kick others choices need to spend time trying to catch a few flies with your hands. Learn some discipline and leave peoples choices alone. OH wait, that is Kung Fu, not the dark side
  23. Hmmm I don't know if I have a favorite color actually. Dang I want to answer all the other questions Am I supposed to? Well I am!! LOL I have 3 handguns and a rifle at the moment. A Glock 26, a Kel-tec P3AT, my CZ 75D PCR and a Remington .22 Nylon 66. Like Angel, I LOVE to read but it is hard getting time to do so because I usually have my nose in the computer. I don't necessarily want to travel, I mean it would be ok I guess sometimes but I am a home body now that I have gotten older. I can't have anymore kids hahahaha! Praise the Lord! Kidding, but I have raised four, so I am ready for a break. I have two sons and two daughters ranging from the age of 17 to 31. I am not working outside the home anymore and that's the way I like it LOL. Movies... I again have to side with Angel, Natosha can vouch for me, I LOVE LOVE LOVE to laugh, so a good comedy is my fav though I do love a good love story too and I don't mind watching a movie that will touch me enough to make me cry but I am not much for scary. OK, so I think I covered them all, don't get upset at me Natosha or I will just spank your fanny, oh wait, you are too old for that now aren't you? Hahaha I sure am glad cause I am too old for it also, you can probably out run me!! Ha! Question? How many pets do you have?
  24. Well I haven't even been able to see one yet. I do agree it would be best to wait until the 2nd batch comes out but if it is taking this long for the first one to be readily available I wonder how long it will take for the second. Oh well, I will just have to be patient.
