  1. Does she already have an account? If so what is her name on here? If not it would be really great if she joins us.
  2. I have two 9mm pistols so it is usually a 9mm but sometimes it is my P3AT .380 auto, looks like the 9mm is hanging right in there on the poll.
  3. Of course you do, where is she? Tell her we want to chat with her.
  4. Hello BarqueCat and welcome, glad to have another woman aboard. I also have a Kel-tec and they are definitely easy to hide. Mine is a P3AT. I also have a Glock 26 and a CZ 75D PCR compact. I like the bigger guns of course but it's not always easy to conceal the bigger ones so the Kel-tec is great. I have had two on me a time or two but never three, not yet anyway
  5. Hey mikedwood, I just looked up Frontier Firearms and it is pretty much about the same distance for me to go there as to go to Knoxville because I live down in Athens. So I will definitely have to check that place out. Funny you mentioned about the prices of some holsters, after he told me that he would not recommend a SOB he showed me a really nice IWB and when I looked at the price I about fainted LOL.... $105 for in the waist... naaaaaa I think I will pass. I know the one with the goatee that ya'll are talking about and yes he is very nice and knowledgable. I guess there are all different kinds in most of these places.
  6. If it is just to enjoy shooting with then I would definitely recommend a .22 I had one but I like something with a little more bang, fun for me is shooting one of my .9 mm's. I would take her to a gun store and let her hold any of the .22 semi automatics and let her find what feels good in her hands. I think that is the trick personally, I had a choice of several and the one that felt great in my hand was one that most people probably wouldn't have chosen but it fit, it was the Beretta U22 Neos and it would use anything I put in it. It was not particular on ammo and it shot great and was a great target pistol.
  7. That holster looks neat Boom but the only thing I don't like about it is the angle for the SOB carry, other than that it appears to be a good choice for several different ways for dress.
  8. I was the hippy darling :cool:when you were born in the 70's!
  9. I think I am more excited for her to get it than she is LOL. I went with her to the DMV and to fingerprint. My husband Mark (magoo304 on here) sent his off almost 6 weeks now, mine was gone 6 weeks and 1 day! I am hoping it will be here soon. I get to do the mailbox run for him since he is at work and as soon as it gets here I will take a picture with my cell and send to him LOL.
  10. Ya know, he wasn't specific actually and I wondered about that after I left. Ya know again lol this person is actually very opinionated and will even try to talk a person out of buying certain guns. It has happened to a family member before, both of us women. That is why I wanted to ask here.
  11. Ummmmmm haha You're good!!!!
  12. I have been entertaining the idea of getting a small of the back holster for my CZ 75D PCR and I stopped at a gun store in Knoxville yesterday and asked to see one that would work with my gun. The guy then proceeded to tell me that he would NOT recommend carrying that way because it is dangerous. He said that it is dangerous to fall on your gun and that he knew a man that was in a wheelchair because he fell on his gun carrying like that and was now paralized. Opinions?
  13. For shame for shame.....hahahaha I LOVE IT!! That pic is hilarious............ BOYS!!!
  14. The new name is straight and to the point and there's nothing wrong with that. I think women that carry and are willing to protect can be straight and to the point like a hen over her biddy's, nothing anyone wants to mess with unless you want a good floggin!!!
  15. Mike, I bought the CZ 75D PCR recently and I love the way it shoots, it is an awesome gun. There is a CZ forum that you might want to check out for past post, it doesn't seem to move much but there is a lot of past info listed. The URL is http://czechpistols82792.yuku.com/
  16. Hey great job, you must be a pretty good grandchild. I think he must like you just a tad
  17. Hi Angel, thanks for sharing pictures of your children, your son is very handsome and your little girl is beautiful. I know what you mean about having pets and working, it is hard to give them the attention and care they need. I am not working outside the home now and have two doberman pinschers. I would not want to work a full time job and try to care for them because they need too much. I might consider a part time if I could get the right part time job.
  18. Yes it did get my attention LOL. Good post!
  19. Angel, once you get the pictures uploaded you should have what looks like this picture. If you notice I have an arrow on it, what you need to do is click that line that I have the red arrow pointed at and it copies and then you come here and paste and it will put the code here for your picture to post.
  20. Angel, photobucket is a free service also. Thought I would throw that in incase you didn't know what it was. A lot of us use it. www.photobucket.com
  21. Nice Bastet! Which is your favorite? I love my 9mm's.
  22. Cameron is one handsome little man! I can't wait to meet him also. I love that age too, they are trying to be little individuals and do things themselves and they come up with the cutest things to say.
  23. I won't be there but hope everyone has a blast!
  24. MrsS each of us has to make that decision for ourselves, what might be comfortable for me may not be something you feel comfortable with and vice versa. With that being said, all three of my guns are semi autos and whichever one I carry always has one in the chamber and ready while carrying and I am OK with that decision. Personally for me it is a matter of wanting to always be ready if I ever needed it. If something were to happen I am not sure we will have time to chamber a round and I doubt the BG would give us time to rack the slide on our pistols
