I'll be damned before I use logic like that, the two aren't tied together. Food stamps aren't going anywhere I realize that, but the government could at least try to get it's head out of it's ass and unf*ck this program.

There are other groups, not all are religious.

If the government stopped handing out food stamps, the slack would be picked up by private organizations. And the people that abuse the system would have a harder time abusing the system. Edit: Your right, people don't donate to organizations like musicman's because they do have the attitude that the government will take care of it.
