  1. Well..I stand by what I said. A lot of people take advantage of the system..And it has nothing to do with people "speaking before they think" ...I see it way to often ..I understand and support the ones that deserve it.. A few times we even paid someones grocery bill at the registers because they did not have enough for juice or milk..And no one said anything about Ghetto types or Baby momma types.. But sadly, that`s where its running rampant.People take advantage of the system.. its sad but true.. I bet you that 50 ore more % in TN just think its easier to get on welfare that find a job..
  2. Especially if you are on hard times.. why get pregnant? And I was on WIC.. after I had my son.. and we where in the military and he was a low paygrade and I was working.( they offered since we didnt make that much together).. so yes we used it.. but thats way different that getting prego and on welfare.. She didnt drive an old beater car either.. nice big fat SUV.. and WIC are vouchers for you, and your baby that consists of Milk, cheese, beans and juice..NOT a welfarecard.. unless they changed it and its all on one card now.. I seem to remember not to long ago seeing people at the store with a WIC voucher.. I am just tired of seeing this crapp...And around here where I live.. I can tell you ALOT of people are on welfare.. And no..I would not give up sex either.. but there are other ways to prevent a pregnancy.
  3. Went to store the other day( Dollar General) In front of us was a younger girl.( maybe 25 or so) Had a little girl with her . The mom was pregnant also...And here she whips out her Welfare Card..Why on earth would you get pregnant again ? it just gets me so fired up,,, That is all .. for now
  4. I eat none of that crapp either..
  5. OUTSIDE KNOXVILLE. dont move INTO Knoxville.. Surrounding counties are nice and quiet..And you can pretty much forget about shooting on a decent range.. I know we have a few but one is way expensive.( Oak Ridge) The other has some range Nazies on there than cant hep them selfs but be annoying and overzealous all the time. Coal Creek is ok I guess..Never been there but heard bad stuff also..Norris Range is good but very simple set up..( Porta Potty)..I hate Knoxville so I might be biased anyway..Crime is getting worse..
  6. We usually had toast and an egg or milk rice.. also grits... but German grits are way different than the American version.. its a lot sweeter.. Not so different than American Breakfast after all.. But pig brains? I would not even feed that crapp to my dogs..
  7. I do not want people to know I have a gun on me..And as a woman they prolly think that I cant hit anything anyway with it.. Personally I think open carry sets you up for all kinds of problems..Not that it is wrong but I personally will not ever open carry...
  8. Yep.. and the crazy dogs
  9. When we went on opening day it was packed to say the least.. I noticed some of the people by the gun counter when they where talking about firearms to not be the most informed or knowlegable people .. I think that comes with years of handling firearms.. BUT they might have been good sales people in a different setting.. I wont shop there anyway.. prices are to high for my taste. FWIW.. if someone comes into my shop( if I had one) and they cannot follow MY rules or shop rules.. they would be asked to kindly find the door to the outside.its really simple.. The sales person also could have handled it better .. he could has said.. come behind the counter and aim it that way or the other way to let teh kids get a somewhat accurate feel for it.. I think both both sides could have handled better
  10. Hey.. did you not come to my house a few weekends ago? I cant remember since I have slept since then:)
  11. I wonder if its the same guy I bought my gun from.. odd.. very odd
  12. Wonder if he got into trouble with the popo for not clearing his gun.. he should.,
  13. Stupid Games.. stupid prizes.. Seriously.. Glad he only shot himself.. that will teach him to follow rules. Then again.. if he handles a gun in a way where it can go off while being taken out of a holster.. he might not need a gun ..... And i understand that some holsters are known to have the gun go off.. for whatever reason.. but jebus dude.. sneaking a gun into a gun show.. KNOWING it suppose to be cleared.. what else do you do or not do when told .. even if its for our ( and yours) safety.. Moron... serves you right....
  14. And hello to you too:)
  15. Looks like someone stuck his.. NM.. I cant say it on here ...
  16. Heheh. I dont know.. Not sure if I would want to point that at my face .. even tho its a dryer.. still kinda neat tho..
  17. Yep.. this pops up a lot with a different scenario about once a year.. still funny tho
  18. I got plenty of spankings.. and the only thing happend is that I resent my mom for it.. It didnt teach me anything..I dont get why people think that beating your child with a belt or spoon is the answer...and I spanked my son.. a whole whopping 2 times when he was just a tyke.. didnt do anything , but made him scared of me..Pranks dont warrant geettting beaten over it.. unless someone gets hurt.. \ Just because you opt not to spank your kids does not make you a Hippie.. there are plenty of other options for disciplining your child. That lady does need to get her head examined .. or she just had a relly reaaaallly bad day..
  19. I think it would be interesting to see how they get ready for the zombie or whatnot apocalypse...I dont buy into all this dooms day crapp because I dont want to have to be afraid and scared for the rest of my life of what MIGHT happen..I am going to enjoy my life... But we did do some prepping in case electro goes out and stuff..and we got plenty of rice stashed... Some people go overboard for sure..
  20. Yeah.. did ya? I know what they look like when the cats bring us theirs...No thank you..They wont even eat them for some reason. They bring them onto the porch and leave them there..I dont think there is enough meat on them to even warrant a cleaning. But if you do eat it.. let us know..
  21. Would`nt want those manicured fingers get all cruddy and stuff .. But yes.. that stuff looks good and I am not even going to try to make it.. thats about 1200 calories right there and thats what I do not need
  22. Has a lot to do with safety. They need to be seen in the dusk and dawn hours.., plus this way you do not have an excuse that you did not see the lights when he is trying to pull you over.. I, for one . think its great they have all these lights.. I would hate to have some idiot plow into someone that I love.. even a person I do not know..
  23. Keeper of the Husband... Was a raiser of the child but he done left the house.. so I try to raise a stink with the ole man ... I used to work.. but then got smart .. now I am a full time feeder of the cats and dogs and the horse
  24. Sorry to hear that..I used to have rats ..I raised one from a pinkie and he was really sweet.. they do make good pocket pets.. to bad their lifespan is so short:(
  25. I have a lot of respect for people who put on a uniform for their country.. Thanks to all of you I wanted to go in the Air Force when I was young.. but then people kept telling me that since I was not a US citizen , I could not go in..I guess now..( or even back then) they fast track you to a citizenship and get it once you graduate out of basic.. Now its to late for me.. but would have loved to do it..
