You will never believe it..BUT.. we used to fish and we used.. the BANJO SYSTEM.. yes. .you heard right.. we caught more and bigger fish with the Banjos than anything else

I hear about more people having an ND/AD than someone having a bad reload..Least that is my perception... Its just sad that people wont even give it a chance to go and shoot on the range but rather just badmouth it before they even get to know the people who shoot there..We dont have enough nice ranges around here as it is..I worry more about having bathroom facilitys that anything else..( I HATE port -a- potties..lol)

Husband open carried yesterday at a Deli ..only because he didnt have a jacket on him to cover it up... some older gentleman looked at him and asked if the crooks where keeping him busy.. and then asked who he was working for.. I guess him being in dress pants and a white shirt.. he thought he was LE or something.. I thought it was funny.. But no one freaked out.. some lady kinda stared at it for a bit...

If anyones wife is looking into getting the HCP around Knoxville.. I took my HCP with them.. classroom and shooting.. Cant say enough good things about them.. its really geared towards woman and shooting I am taking my instructor training from them next year also.. Who did you take it with? I thought any class you take anywhere they tell you right there and then if you passed or not.. same with the written test.. I took my written test.. and got the results at the end of the class.. My shooting test got looked at right there and then to tell me what I scrored.. got all my paperwork done and it took about 3 weeks ot get my permit back.. Very odd...

I am all for defending my property...but if someone wants to take my truck and steal it in a walmart parking lot..go for.it..Inam not going to go to jail or risk shooting someone by accident in a occupied.parking lot..They can have my truck..thats what i got insurance for....Now..on my own property..different story..they need.to come down a long driveway..If they makenit that far..

I got the Talo edition.. I had some issues with the coating peeling back right by the muzzle.. but it has stopped and its not peeling any further back.. not very noticable but still.. kinda dissapointing to see your shiny coating coming off.Talked to Ruger about it and they didnt do the coating in-house.. at the end.. i just left it teh way it is.. stil la very pretty gun

We have a pack close to our house..hear them yapping all the time.No one hunts up here.. I am sure they got plenty to eat here...lots of stray dogs... Anyone noticed a higher amount of Turkeys this year?... we ..i think..got 2 huge flocks of them here..

A few years ago someone had started .. or wanted to start... a exotic hunting preserve.. well canned hunt actually.. a few acres fenced in and some zebra and other hoofed animals along with boar.. Not sure if that ever took off but people had a fit over it.. they where more worried about them escaping that the hunt itself.. I dotn get the alure of Canned Hunts anyway but to each his own I guess.. There was a guy on a diff board that went to ( I think Texas)who ran around at night , barefoot with a spear hunting wild boar..

There are a lot of places in Africa that have hunts to maintain herds and keep them at a healthy count.. and the meat goes to the locals.. I am not against hunting.. far from it.. Only thing I ever did not like is trapping.. the leg traps are not humaen and the animal suffers a great deal with those.. Poachers often times are in such a rush to get the ivory or horns that the animal is often not dead yet..That is gruesome..

Thats why I said .. some things need to change..I can understand why peopel get upset...and yes.. they do go overboard but a scan or a patdown isnt going to kill anyone.. Maybe they have not caught any terrorists.. btu they have caught plenty of people who tried to bring weps ( unsavory peeps) on board.. and what about that shoe bomb dude? It only takes one time to let someoen slip by with a bomb..one time.. I rather not take that chance....
