  1. I tell you how you do it. Handle it like jury selection, provide dorms and food while congress members are in Washington and reduce the number of days those representatives must be there.
  2. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a business run by natural persons, like sole proprieterships and partnerships having say in governmnet. Folks seem to be confusing the current corporate landscape with capitalism and doing business. Corporate personhood is the problem. The moochers and looters have taken over the corps and the government. They are able to influence the government, directing monies and favors toward them. As far as First Amendment rights for corporations go... We do not have "Constitutional rights". People (natural persons) " are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights..." How can a legal person created by the government have god given rights? The constitution works much like a trust in that it sets up and restricts the government from imposing on our god given rights. When is the last time a corporation did time for a crime? More than likely it filed bankruptcy to shrug all civil liabilities or just keeps fighting lawsuits in court till they die on the vine. Corporations must work to make money for the shareholders, not fulfill it's obligations as good citizens. When they do illegal things, the liability is often ambiguos and always seems to fall on a "lone" worker, when it is obvious that more people had to have had knowledge. Go on and pull out your tinfoil hat and make the boogie men go away.
  3. Tune up what tinfoil? Reality is stranger than fiction. If you don't catch the reference, that's ok. I reckon by changing to a character attack with tin foil reference that you have it all figured out.
  4. A converted saiga 223 if i do.
  5. You know the only money Dagny would have wanted was gold, too.
  6. I believe you are fooling yourself if you think you and I have any say what so ever about who gets to Washington. Brown made it because someone wanted him there. With the way the media and investigative journalism/smear machines which are owned by a handful of corporations work, if they didn't want him elected, he wouldn't be. Hang out at muckety or theyrule dot com for a while and see exactly what the incestuous relationship between current and previous admins and the multi-nats really is. Say hello to the new boss, same as the old boss. The moochers have been in control since that book was written. We are just too blinded with petty politics to understand this.
  7. The few that are ignored at best and made out as mad otherwise.
  8. Have you read Atlas Shrugged?
  9. The only way the government can "fix" anything is by getting out of the business of "fixing" things. The fix is already in.
  10. How does it work taking a rifle to sell/trade? What time does it start?
  11. I refuse to walk anywhere near Wally world. WalMart. Where everyone is treated like a thief when they leave.
  12. I like my WASRs, but not as much as my Saigas. If you are wanting it to end up looking like an AK, it will take some money and effort. The pistol grip, FCG part is not bad. If you want the bayonet lug, muzzle break and ak for guards it will take more work.
  13. phbt. The plan will pass if it benefits the oligarchy and the corporations. The plan will not pass if it helps the citizens. Anyone who makes it to Washington has been vetted by all of the multi national corporations that run the country.
  14. Thanks guys. The sites on this are so easy to see and it feels so balanced...
  15. I picked up a Pro CDP II and finally had a chance the other day to start breaking it in. I have 100 flawless rounds through it with 230gr ball. I really like it. It almost feels naughty.
  16. Thanks folks. She is against going to a gun shop, so I am going to have to decide for her. I am thinking a Walther P22 is what I will see about getting.
  17. I was born a poor black child.
  18. So many choices.
  19. Am I missing it on their site? I only see the LEPII for $999. Not that I need to spend more money... lol
  20. Thanks guys. I am really wanting one that will be for anyone to shoot, including myself. This would not be "her" gun, but just to introduce her safety and shooting. That said, I do see where it fitting her specifically will make it more enjoyable for her...
  21. Thanks for the info. I never had a problem with the DI in mine either. I like the idea of it running cleaner, so I don't view it as a novelty, but as a design improvement.
  22. My wife has expressed interest in shooting, so I would like to find a good/reasonably priced .22lr to start her with. What models should I look at?
  23. It's so ugly, I think I am in love.
  24. Anyone have one of these yet? If so, what is the good, bad and ugly?
